Why did the chicken cross the road?

Well I think it's because she'd laid a ton of eggs in her lifetime, and saw the old rooster heading her direction - - so she crossed the road, and continued on over to the railroad tracks, jumping on the train that had stopped at the feed mill next door. The train took off, and she was never heard from or found again. My guess is she's in some chicken's old folks/chick's home now, enjoying her rocking chair on the porch.
