Moving to new Place

how difficult is it to close down your old place and move to a new one. My husband got a tranfer to another place and we have to move within a week. It was hectic. We had to pack and transport all our stuff to another place it was so diffcult. A new place to go to and load everything from your old place on to the transport and transport it to the new place. And to top it all the attachement you have had to your place makes you feel so sad. What is your experience? How have moved so fast anytime? Will love to hear from you all.
