Do someone need to be verified in paypal, for referring others to it?

I am not a verified member of paypal. There are several of my friends that don't posses a paypal account and are to join. I want them to join under me in paypal, but i am not able to find the referral link or referral banner. I searched in google about it, and i saw a post that one needs to be verified to use the referral link or banner. I want to discuss it with you guyz. Is it true that i need to be registered before i can use my Referral link?

Hi avidavi1, there is no need to be 'verified' member to enroll friends into paypal.Being 'unverified' member you are entitled to withdraw fund to your bank account from paypal account. I have personally tested this.But your verified paypal member there are many advantages. At any time you can withdraw funds. Some sites only transact with verified members only and so on.

when u'l reach to ur min amt ..money wil go to ur paypal a/c.
