The Ten Commandments According to Obama After observing Obama on the campaign trail and during his first six months in office, we have concluded that our President lives and governs according to his own set of “Ten Commandments.” They’re certainly NOT the Ten Commandments you learned in Sunday School. In fact, many are the direct opposite! To prove that our conclusions are correct, you will find a link to source documentation for each commandment on the Patriot Update web site. I. Thou shalt have no God in America, except for me. For we are no longer a Christian nation and, after all, I am the chosen One. (And like God, I do not have a birth certificate.) SOURCE II. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, unless it is my face carved on Mt. Rushmore. SOURCE III. Thou shalt not utter my middle name in vain (or in public). Only I can say Barack Hussein Obama. SOURCE IV. Remember tax day, April 15th, to keep it holy. SOURCE V. Honour thy father and thy mother until they are too old and sick to care for. They will cost our public-funded health-care system too much money. SOURCE VI. Thou shalt not kill, unless you have an unwanted, unborn baby. For it would be an abomination to punish your daughter with a baby. SOURCE VII. Thou shalt not commit adultery if you are conservative or a Republican. Liberals and Democrats are hereby forgiven for all of their infidelity and immorality, but the careers of conservatives will be forever destroyed. SOURCE VIII. Thou shalt not steal, until you've been elected to public office. Only then is it acceptable to take money from hard-working, successful citizens and give it to those who do not work, illegal immigrants, or those who do not have the motivation to better their own lives. SOURCE IX. Thou shalt not discriminate against thy neighbor unless they are conservative, Caucasian, or Christian. SOURCE X. Thou shalt not covet because it is simply unnecessary. I will place such a heavy tax burden on those that have achieved the American Dream that, by the end of my term as President, nobody will have any wealth or material goods left for you to covet. SOURCE http://patriotupdate.com/home/exclusive/13 - Any comments???

So all of America's problems are due to Obama? It seems that is what is being said. The US economy has been on a roller coaster for years. The anti-Obamanites seem to be the one's deifying him, seeing as he would have to be more than human to have caused all these problems in about seven months.

I do not see anything that about prior presidents that is just what you read into it.

Actually if you read the original post you'd see that this thread isn't about blaming Obama for anything. It's simply putting his views into a religious context.

It is implying that Presidents which proceeded him were somehow morally superior and he has introduced these thoughts and behaviors...just silly.

Nice post! I really can't add much to it, since your post pretty much sums it up. It seems to be steadily going downhill and the hill seems to be getting steeper day by day. What scares me the most, is that we still have 3 and a half years of this ahead of us. I sure hope somebody makes this man put on the breaks, regarding those crazy spending habits of his.

The only thing that'll make him 'put on the brakes' where the spending is concerned, is the American voter doing some louder yelling, and more of it. Amazing isn't it - - if you so much as disagree with the man - you're either an Obama hater, or you're bashing him. But with Mr. Bush, all of that came very naturally frome these same people yelling at the rest of us for bringing up things that are making life worse. Can't ANYONE see the horrible mistake made with the 'stimulis' package? And, there's talk of another in the making. Where is all of the money supposed to come from to pay for all of this????? Obama for sure isn't Mac the magician, and some of those yo-yos in his cabinet are a joke. He'd do more for the country if he'd at least try to tap into the ingenuity of the American people. I'm sure there are a lot of good ideas out there.

I pretty much find this article to be accurate in my estimation. I never liked Obama and had very serious doubts about him as President and I do fear what is going to happen in the next three and a half years. I blame the media for railroading public opinion into supporting this man and I am deeply saddened by the fact that the American public elected him without thinking things through, but relying on or all powerful media for the "facts" that they chose to write about. We as a country are pretty much doomed to oblivion if we continue to follow Obama's agenda. He has already quadrupled our national debt and there is no signs of any stimulus in employment or businesses. What he has done is helped a lot of special interest groups whom most likely contributed heavily to his campaign. I have said it before but I will say it again this country is being ruined from within by special interest groups that have big money and power backing them up and we all know that power can corrupt. I feel like we are living the American version of the Rise and Fall of an Empire. I would like to believe that the American people are not so stupid that they are going to let this happen, we the people can make things change but we all have to open our eyes and make it happen, we the people are strong only if we want to be, and we the people can stop this abomination if we really want to, the people are stronger than the Democrats or the Republicans or any other Special Interest group as long as we come together and fight for what we KNOW is right. The people can do it, witness the Boston Tea Party, even in Iran the people are fighting for what is right. Where did the American Dream go and why are we letting this happen? The freedom of speech is not just for the media it is every one's right and you do not have to be Republican or Democrat to speak up and say what is in your heart, if we are going to change things we need to start yelling now or forever hold or peace because in another year or two we won't have a country of our own.

Excellent response! What also scare me is that I suspect Obama is also being financially supported by foreign groups. Just the lawyer fees alone to suppress his birth certificate is is at least a million dollars. (http://americangrandjury.org/barrack-obamas-birth-certificate-a-pure-fraud) No one would spend that kind of money is they did not have something to hide. As I am a naturalized American citizen I realize just how important it was and how often I had to show my birth certificate. I also blame the media for the blatant support of Obama they are so biased they only show him in the most flattered light so I doubt we will ever see the truth about him.

Thanks for the BR vote, and I agree that there is money coming from somewhere to support all of the cover up and probably paying off the media too. At this point nothing would surprise me. He has covered up a lot of things and I just happen to think that actively covering things up means you have something to hide, what other surprises are in store for us behind the face of Obama.

Of course I live under Obama's commandments. We are a puppet of the US and as a country are misguided enough to believe that there is a "Special Relationship" - which at a political level there never has been. What the US wants, the British go out and get. Frankly you have the best President that you could have had out of a very mediocre bunch. Obama will shaft you in the same way that Blair shafted us (in fact Obama is starting out as an almost mirror image of Blair's first months in office). However, the US needs to wake up and remove its head from the sand. The world is changing and it needs to change too. Bush and his cronies would have dragged you backwards.

Hi Whitefeather - very interesting. It's sure a shame that all we the American voters, seem to be able to do is vent over this current governmental control, and change machine. I knew when Mr O got in, we were sunk, and sure enough, it seems to all be going in the wrong direction. Wonder just how great the damage will amount to, by the time people wake up and get rid of a bunch of these high living and out of control spenders. If they were more for the 'common folks' it'd be different. I's still amazed that the only groups of people that are referred to in most news stories where the presiden is concerned, is the rich and the middle class. Poor folks are seldom to never mentioned, and certainly were not even thought of when the stimulis package was set up. Guess their considered a 'liability' in this modern age.

You said "it seems to all be going in the wrong direction. " I could not agree with you more. We are already in trouble so I wonder just how far the American people are going to let it go before they demand that Obama's changes are for GOOD of all the American people.

I am right with you, he was too smooth a talker, talk fast and the american people won't be able to understand what you mean. It was down him the day he was elected. I did not vote for him, but I was really hoping that maybe, just maybe he would do something for us. As far as poor people does he even know they exist. Never hear them mentioned. Yes wasn't that $300. so grand an amount, you can't buy a months groceries on that, let alone pay bills. For once they could of give all that money that they blew on AIG and GM who went bankrupt anyway, to the people and let them spend it. But then that would meant we wouldn't be in the bind we all in and he would have no power. I got a feeling before his 4 years are up, if someone don't wake up we won't have anything left to have freedom with or for. He is slowly taking it away from us every day.

I saw that and got a chuckle out of it. It would be a lot funnier if so much of it weren't true. That makes it sad... and those who don't see the truth make it even sadder.

Anyone can become famous or even infamous; but, the fame (or infamy) is normally fleeting. And, the price paid for either one can be more than most people are willing to pay. Do you really want the "fame" or just the satisfaction of knowing your words are being read by others and possibly influencing them?

When I said that Obama thinks he is a demi-god and is campaigning to be god, I guess this proves it. He is becoming more like a tyrant and a dictator, and less like the president - well illegal president. And the last one will happen unless the Americans rise up and elect a legal president. As it says in the Bible, God is not mocked. HE will reckon with Obama some day and I hope it's soon. I am a Canadian and I want an America that is strong and not one where those who are leeches live off those who are industrious nor do I want one where people will be forced to limit their children by the lack of size of their vehicles. (Have you seen those dinky cars lately?)

I. Thou shalt have no God in America, except for me. For we are no longer a Christian nation and, after all, I am the chosen One. (And like God, I do not have a birth certificate.) SOURCE How dare he refer to America for what it is.. a secular nation with people of multiple faiths. The other arguments are powerful though, that article definitely pointed out that he felt he was a god. As for the birth certificate - of course the authorities have never checked it. It's all a giant anti-American, communist conspiracy. II. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, unless it is my face carved on Mt. Rushmore. SOURCE Right on - "I dont think my ears would fit," Obama said, laughing. "There's only so much rock up there." III. Thou shalt not utter my middle name in vain (or in public). Only I can say Barack Hussein Obama. SOURCE Oh my... I never realized that McCain and Obama were the same people! Asked afterwards if it was appropriate to use the Senator's middle name, McCain said, "No, it is not. Any comment that is disparaging of either Senator Clinton or Senator Obama is totally inappropriate. Can't be assed to go on, but something tells me they're not being completely honest with their sources.

Number V111 should also say after the illegal immigrant part - especially if the illegal immigrant is your own aunt who has lived here illegally for over 4 years drawing welfare paid for by legal American tax-payers.

Guess you weren't paying attention to Bush's ten commandments: 1. Thou Shalt Love Only ME. 2. Thou Shalt Believe Only In ME. 3 - 10. If you question ME or Do Not Follow ME, you are UnAmerican - oh yeah and going to Hell. Depends on who you ask with all of them.... We will never ALL agree with any of them, but that doesn't give you or me the right to write or speak untruths and spread rumors or practice "voluntary ignorance" whatever our opinions are. (As you did here, and I followed up in kind). I get so tired of "politics" for this very reason!
