Will stupid scam ads ever stop plaguing the internet?

I don't know about you, but I'm tired of winning all these free ipod's and being the 1,000,000,000th visitor to all these web pages. Do they think that these really work? Will everyone finally realize these are all scams, even those new to the internet? Will these ads just die out when that happens? Leave your thoughts and comments, I'll get to them after I claim this free Wii I just one at the top of the page. PS: Ever feel bad for that guy who just wants to give free ipods out on the internet?
