husbands and wives,are they equal?

They say that now husband and wives are equal.Wives work to help their families as well as husbands.But why is it that they are tagged as responsible when they earn for their families however,wives needs to work to earn a living and at the same time,take care of the family.When something goes wrong (husband cheats,kids fail classes etc)why is it that the wives are always to blame.what's equal with that?

Actually that is wrong to blame the wife for everything.In a marriage relationship, both have the responsibility and both must share everything.I think blaming wives are for escaping from the words of others.Truly it is unacceptable.
