What do you do with your grass clippings?

I put ours on the garden and flower beds! It provides nutreints and detters weed growth. Our neighbour gives us his clippings too. In fact he is mowing right now and we can expect two bags full!! Yeah! I need them for my garden as I have not been putting any in there this season! They may be just the boost my garden needs.
So don't throw those clippings away use them in your garden as free mulch that gives your plants needed nutrition!

I pretty much do the same as you. I use them mostly for mulch around my plants and all. If I have a lot of clippings, I add them to the compost heap. In the fall though, I double mow them and leave them on the grass to enrich that soil and have a better lawn in the spring time. I'm glad I don't live in the city around here where they have to bag up their clippings and leave them at the curb. Seems like a waste of good nutrients!

I have more grass than garden, so I pile mine in a certain place between two raised beds, then I use it to mulch wherever I can. Since I can't use all of it, sometimes I have to rake it out and throw it in the trash. I hate to do that, but there's no place to put it.

I am making a compost pile this year to have gorgeous veggies next summer. We are in winter now in my country
