What kind of mower?

Well we recently invested in a push mower, no motor, no gas, no anything just manpower! I love it! It works like a charm and is so quiet. I don't have to buy gas and haul it back home. I don't have to replace spark plugs. An added bonus? it is better for the enviroment and your grass. It doesn't chew the grass up like a motored mower does. My grass has never looked better and is actually growing thicker and healthier! Oh and it is easy to push I don't get tired at all! What kind of mower o you have?

I have both power and push mowers. My push mower needs a sharpening I am sure. I do not notice much difference in the cutting, though.

power mowers tend to chew the crud out of our grass but the push mower makes a clean cut so the lawn is healthier.

Where do you find them? I hardly find one in my hometown.

Lowe's had a great selection earlier this year. Mine came from Sears, several years ago.

Yes, the old fashioned push mower's are great. Unless if you have a huge lawn. Then you don't want something like that. But for a small lawn they are good.

It's great that you've rediscovered the push mower. A lot of people have forgotten them or never grew up with them. I think they're still an excellent tool personally, and absolutely better for your lawn than a powered mower. Another good "green" choice is an electric mower -- I like the cordless ones better, but they have batteries that can burn out.
