Yesterday when I log in in my account, i have $5.96 in my account and when I log in today , I only have $4.59. I just don't know why i was deducted $1.37. I have checked on all my activities. Nothing was deleted in my discussions. My reputation remains to be good. And actually it increase one point.I just don't understand what happened. Did you encounter the same problem? What shall I do?I have already sent an e mail to the admin but haven't receive feedback from them. What do you think is the reason behind the deduction that happened to me? Thanks mylot members, please share your opinion.

Over the last few days many discussions, responses and comments have been removed. If you had started or responded on any of them then any earnings previously added to your account from them would now have been deducted.
I lost many posts and have lost earnings today too. MyLot explain this in the FAQs:
'Why do my earnings fluctuate?
From time to time it is necessary for myLot to recalculate earnings for the month to curb users trying to game the system. Our proprietary earnings algorithm periodically recalculates all estimated daily earnings for the previous month to take into account posts that have been deleted in the abuse and moderation processes.
During the recalculation of earnings some users with lower-quality contributions will see a decrease. Any money deducted from users due to our abuse and moderation processes is then reallocated to myLot users based on certain qualitative factors. Due to this, earnings will fluctuate.
myLot members who have a decrease in earnings have had one or more posts deleted throughout the month. The main reason for this could be that you started a discussion that violated our guidelines or terms, that you responded to, or commented on, a discussion that violated our guidelines or terms, or that a comment you made on a blog article or news story violated our guidelines or terms.
Please become familiar with our myLot Guidelines and Terms of Use to avoid the possibility of having your posts deleted in the abuse and moderation processes.
myLot does not reward low-quality contributions, or even worse, attempts to game the earnings algorithm.
Remember, your earnings are all estimated until paid.'

Because this is explained in the FAQS it is also unlikely that myLot will respond to your query

You CAN reach the payout my friend.
I will personally PUSH you into reaching it this month
First off, don't waste much time here on this discussion as it is another that will be deleted (a personal issue which should be discussed with myLot) but instead get over to your other discussions and comment on the responses there.
Then start an interesting topic which does not involve a money-making site and we'll try and get it off to a good start

May be one of you big discusion got deleted .. Since the amount is realy high.. then there are more chances for deletion for your discusion only..
anyways good luck.
I think you can still reach the minimum payout..
Good luck..

Even though you have not violated the guidelines, there is one idiot who either posts his referral link, is very abusive, or writes nonsense. Then there is the friend who thinks if she replies "I do not know anything about the subject but hi anyway," and the one that just replies in a short sentence that thinks that she is helping you. Unfortunately it does not.
Also, I do not know if this is against the guidelines, but if it is not, it should be. There is a thing such as fair use when using copyrighted material and everyone should follow it. So one has to give the link (without referrel ids) rather then copy and paste an entire article. And one must not just write a joke or just a recipe. The recipe and the joke must be included in the response.
So these are a few reasons why there are deductions when really you are innocent of all these no nos.

Well, that is quite big of a deductions. But most likely there were a lot of discussions that you have responded to that were deleted or perhaps some of the discussions that you have started have been removed. I had my share of decrease in earnings but it has not reach to more than $.50. Well, just make sure that you respond to great discussions. Do not waste your time on obvious post that will certainly be deleted later on. Good luck and more earnings to come!

Sometimes it could be the discussions that you posted to were deleted. If that happens you could always lose money through no fault of your own. I think there are times when that does happen and you can end up losing money although nothing you did violated the terms of the agreement. I havent often had posts deleted but several times I did not see as much money for posted comments as I think I should have seen in my account.

Hi, I sometimes notice that my earnings are deducted by a few cents but what happened yesterday was on the contrary, my earnings were being increased! After refreshing the site I was seeing my earnings increase by $0.01 until it was increase by about $0.04, I thought it was some mistake but then it stayed like that. These were not a day's earnings because then it was updated again later. I think they were recalculating.
I don't know how to check whether the responses I made have been deleted. if they delete the whole discussion then I couldn't see it. Is there a way to know which of your posts have been deleted?
Thanks & have a nice day!

Hello there my friend, i guess i have the same problem before till i realized that I was violating Mylot rules for participating in discussions that have been deleted. You must check all the forums you participated on your profile, there is an option to show the forums you have joined and participated.
If in those forums you check and they have been removed, then chances are, you will get the deductions. I think Mylot is clear with that rule of deducting us. I have no doubt against Mylot if i see some deductions on my amount. In fact, i am way far than your earnings, but i know that i will strive to get that certain amount, let's see before the cut off period.
Don't worry, im sure you will be careful next time and aware about the guidelines here. Cheer up, you can still reach the minimum payout. Happy mylotting.

I also donot know why this happens, maybe you might have posted wrong coments or posted a discussion which violates mylot terms and conditions or may be they might have developed a new algorithm to calculate the earnings.I donot exactly even know, how the earnings are done in mylot,do we get more by posting or getting ore responses or by commenting on other discussions
anyways,be safe and happy mylotting....

Aww that is really too bad. I know you must have typed your fingers off to get there.
Like mysdi said in the post above, I think if you are sure that you have not violated any guidelines then the earnings got deducted because you commented in discussions that were violating guidelines and hence they must have gotten deleted.
For the future, either avoid participating in discussions that you know for sure are breaking guidelines (Like duplicate discussions , discussions where links are posted directly etc.) Or you will run the risk of this happening again.
Wish you the very best my friend.
