Some books I've read and loved the characters and story lines so much that I thought they would be great made into movies or TV series. One example is Sue Grafton's Kinsey Millhone series! I can just imagine sitting down to watch Kinsey on TV every week! What books do you think would be good as TV series or movies?

I'm a fan of the Kinsey Millhone series & that sure would be interesting to watch--you know what other crime series would be a great tv series?? Stephanie plum books by Janet Evanovich! that would be such a riot--I love that series, even more than the the Kinsey ones since it has comedy in it--gotta love that bounty hunter from NJ

I think the movie and tv serials their are some difference between them because Tv serials are not shown at a time it has some episode and if the story of the tv serials are a bit complected then people will not enjoy it.So i think every book can make a movie but not a TV serial.

surely that would depend on the book? How many books have been condensed into a two hour film and have therefore missed out so many details that the films are just poor imitations of the original work

Always thought the Toff series of books would make a good TV series as his Gideon and Baron series have been made into decent series. Also vaguely recollected an Inspector West film but could be mistaken.

I had not heard of this series, so just went to investigate. Wow! That's a lot of books!!! If made into a TV series, it could go on for quite some time!
Now I've got to look for these at my favorite used books store...

I think some of the Agatha Christie books could be brought to the big screen. They ahve actually made some of them into movies in the past but they could do aremake on TV and they would be pretty interesting and entertaining.

Of course Agatha Christie is classic! Some have been done, but there is always room for more, or as you said remakes!
