how can i fix dead colors at the side of my system's monitor.......

Presently i am using view sonic monitor 14" which is quite old but working fine until a week ago it changed its colors and shadow like darkness at its left side.however rest of the monitor screen is showing colors fine but left side is effected.....but i am really keen to fix it at any cost due to lack of budget to get a new monitor for my pc.....

I am a Computer Technician for more than 2 years and what can fix your monitor problem is to adjust something inside of it called "flyback". Of course, I won't suggest you to do that since you're not a professional to do that. See a qualified professional to do that. But it would be better to have a switch to LCD screens. LCD screens are cheap nowadays so why not get one.

I don't understand about your problem after changed on colors. If you are know about electronic then you may started from those color settings. In monitors, there are master and slave of setting on every setting aspect of monitor. I means if you are in maximum adjustment then you must changed on master adjustment. Is your viewsonic monitor in digital or potensio adjustment? If it is digital adjustment, It is really difficult to trim.
