What should you say if someone tells you I LOVE YOU But you dont love her /him??

What if someone tells you I LOVE YOU, but you don't know him/her.. or you know someone tells you that, like your friend or admirer etc! but you don't love her/him, what should you say back ? in not hurt way...
someone tells me I love you and i respond THank You.. lolx

Love can be defined in many many ways it might be parents, child's love, sisters, brothers, relatives and many ways even an online friends love like us who do not know each other(ha ha ha ha). So love is in many forms it only depends on how to person reacts the same as jenny said.
Suppose if i was been told I LOVE YOU i would have replied "me to as a friend" This varies with many people in many forms. If a person who is in an angry mood and if for such a person we say the above three words then i hope every one knows the result ;-)......

Nice way to reject or saying "NO" without hurting him/her.
1) I love you too as a very close friend.
2) Yes, I love you too, you are just like my brother / sister.
3) Thank you for your love but I can't accept it...it will be
not fair for you...
4) You deserve a better person than me...you still doon't know
me well...
5) Just let him know you already with someone....
Better to Reject Now rather than later coz it will hurts more...

yeh thank u so much for this, but in No.5 what if he/she will ask you who is your bf/gf ? and you both are friends, and want to see your gf/bf??

That would be polite but probably devastating. I don't like to say I love you too much because it becomes automatic when it happens too often. I would prefer my actions to speak for me.

It all depends on who it is.
If it is a friend then just explain that you love them as a friend.
If it is an admirer then they probably say the word too easily.
If it is a partner but your not ready to say it yet then avoid the question with a hug or a kiss.
