i live in a country near the equator which then means that we are experiencing a lot of tropical weather. when it rains, it pours hard. and when it shines, the sun would truly shines brightly and so hot! we have tropical storms all the time and a one heated up summer. yet we are proud of our beaches and warm loving people. how about you? care to talk about your place? thanks keep safe jhelai

Well, I live in the United States and you can't say just one thing about it. It has almost a little of everything. We have a two types of rain forest, one in Washington and one in Hawaii. We have coniferous forests, mountains, deserts, grasslands, swamp lands and tundras. The climate differs in almost every area. My area of the country is a desert. We get a dry heat in the summer. We mostly have a dry climate. It is clear and sunny 99% of the year. Our winters can get cold, but no where near cold than many other parts of the country, just cold to us, since we are use to the warmer weather throughout the year. It is a beautiful place, but there is not much natural green. We have mostly desert bushes and Joshua Tree in our natural landscape. Our natural animals are mostly jack rabbits, coyotes, road runners, qual and ravens.

I am in California. Even though I live in a desert area, California is probably one of the most diverse of states as it not only has deserts, but mountains, forests and beaches all in one state and you can usually take day trips to each type of area. I am in a desert, but in less than an hour I can be in a beautiful mountain area, filled with snow in the winter. Or I can drive the opposite direction and be at the beach for the day. I am biased, but it is my favorite state .

which state is this one you are living now my friend. yes as what i have knwon US always differ in climate though it is a one continent but mostly all of the states are different. some may come in warm climate than the other. while others got a frozen year of cold weather. though i am still so new with what US got to offer but from research and as what you have said US is a little of everything in it. its a whole wide package to search for and be amazed from it. thanks friend jhelai

One of the patriotic songs of my country talks about "from sea to shining sea" although it refers to the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Well, that says a lot about the beauty and confusion of the US. Our climate goes from one extreme to another, sometimes overnight. It is a country of change. We have beautiful mountains and gorgeous beaches and wide open plains, but often one has to go a long distance to get to them. When I was young I made a point of being sure to drive all the way from one end to the other. Having seen most of the country, although there are beautiful places everywhere, I decided that I must live where palm trees and citrus grow. I like the west coast best because it has no hurricanes and the hot weather is mostly dry instead of humid. Instead we have earthquakes. Even in one state, such as California, there is a great difference in the customs and the temperament of the people. I personally do not like cold weather, so I live where the sun shines almost every day and the summers are extremely hot.

I live in NW Florida, near Pensacola, and the weather here is HOT and HUMID. It is actually not that bad out there right now, because we had some rains overnight to cool it off, but temperatures in the high 90's with heat indexes close to 110 degrees Fahrenheit are not uncommon this time of year. We get a lot of thunderstorms this time of year as well, and occasionally, we get tropical storms or hurricanes as well.

It is kind-of interesting that we are half a world apart, from different cultures, yet we have a lot of the same issues to deal with. Our weather sounds pretty much the same, even though we are on opposite sides of the planet.

I live in a country in the northern hemisphere. It is situated in Europe and it is an island. It has a large population of almost 60 million people. It has four seasons: summer which can be warm to hot, autumn which can be cool to cold, winter which can be very cold and spring which can be cool to fairly warm. It has a lovely coastline but the sea temperature is cold. It has historic buildings like pretty cottages, old churches and cathedrals. Our official language is English. There is a wealth of literature and art work from the past. There is a rich history going back very long ago. There is a queen and a prime minister. The currency is called pound and pence or sterling.

I live in the united states and our climate here is pretty diverse. I live in Alabama and it's been in the 90s for quite sometime now. I think it's hot all over the united states right now. I just learned that in New York City, which is in the northeast, their high tomorrow is going to be 82. Their high for Monday is going to be 80. It must not be as hot up north like it is here in the south. Kathy.

My house is all electric so I keep my air conditioner on all the time in the summer. It just comes on when it gets warm and cuts off when it's cool enough. In the winter, I keep the heat on and it does the same way. Kathy.

A country of great people with good places to linger around.Prior to Spanish regime, we already have our own civilization. We have our beliefs and leaders. Our ancestors braved the revolution vs. the Spaniards and Americans. We have intelligent and artistic people. We can be at par with the world. We have good food as well.We love our family, and we are kept intact by religion and culture. We have lots of malls-some people say that we have good looking massive malls. We go there every week ,usually during weekends w/ our kids.We also love cars even if the cost of gasoline is high.We can't boast of our political leaders because they love mud slinging and most are corrupt. But then we are strong humorous people who have to contend with those mockery of our society.

I live in England, which means that it is rainy, wet and cold most the time, so if it is a nice hot sunny day, everyone flocks to the beach in really tiny clothes to get a tan for the rest of the year.

I live in a tropical country where weather is hot and humid most of the time. It's difficult to stand the weather if there is no air conditioner. Therefore most of the houses, offices and shops will have air conditioners. Rainy season mostly from August till December, a lot of places will be flooded because of too much rain. Other than that, it is very nice country for holiday because it's full of sunshine..
