Can parental love be too much?

Is it possible for a parent to destroy a child's character because of too much love. I really have a problem in defining what is too much parental love. Children are our creation and I cannot think of anything else but love when I am with my children.

I believe it depends on what we do in the name of the love that we have for our child that can either make or break our kids, there is a balance in everything ln life and well that applies to our kids too, I also feel that time will tell if we did a good job or not.

I don't think so. Every parents only want is the best for their children. And I believe that there's no greater love than the love of the parent to their children. Everything that the parents does is only for the good and the benefit of the child. It just so happen that some of the children nowadays are hard headed and rebellious especially when your child is in the adolescence stage. They don't want to listen to their parents advice because they want to learn it by themselves. Too curious of everything believing they can manage on their own. But in the end they need their parents assistance.
