I often use a plastic bag several months ago. However, one day the plastic bags in the supermarket are not free anymore, so after that, I will always bring a bag with me instead of buying one plastic bag everytime I went to the supermarket. Maybe this is beneficial to the environment. Do you often use plastic bags?

Plastic grocery bags are what I chose every time because they are easier to carry into the house. Plus, we're able to use them for the bathroom trash cans as well!

I hardly ever use plastic bags. My husband and I keep dozens of reusables in the house, and take some with us whenever we go out to grocery shop or pick up food at the pet store, etc. Sometimes we won't have enough with us for all of our purchases, and we'll end up getting one or two. But those plastic bags are free bags for us to use for little trash cans, and I also clean the litterbox and put the scoopings into plastic bags to throw them out. So the plastic bags we do get, we reuse, but we try to use reusable bags most often.

wow.. Over here we don't pay for plastic bags only in some stores not all. I only rean into one store that wanted 10 cent per bag. Most of the time they are free. To answer your question I use plastic bags now and then. My father saves well I save them too. We always have been going that since I don't when probably before I was born. We just use them to small, simple things. well yeah it's probably because the environment just like you said most likely. If not maybe the store is just trying to make a little extra money. Some stores charge you like 25 cents for a cart. Pshhhh Yeah right I rather bring my nieces and cousins along and help me and like you said bring my own bag or what ever. =] Well yeah take care.. =]

Since it is commonly use now nothing I could do but to use it anyhow. But for environment this is not friendly. These plastics are hazardous to our environment cause it could be rotten easily. It would take several years to be rotten. I would prefer a paper bag which been used before...

We are using much less plastic bags these days. For our earth and next generations, we need to change to a more healthy way of living. And more important is the scientists must work out ways to dispose of the plastic bags not harming the environment.

It's good and great move from you. If most of the people follows this method, then global warm effects can be reduced and we can save our environment from further degradation. I am in the initial stage of avoiding the plastic bags where ever unnecessary, but some cases comes where i forget to bring a bag from my home while going for a shopping. Or it happens that no per planned shopping will be thr so that i wont carry any bags from home
