I prefer laptop because of the availability. But desktops are so stable and easy and comfortable. I don't play enough computer games to need that though, laptop is my choice. What's yours?

I think that both have their own benefits. I prefer working on my desktop when I can because it seems to run faster for me and does not lose my internet signal. Laptops are nice because when I travel, I can take it with me and it works great. They do bother some people like my mom though. She hates using the little pad for the mouse and has to carry a regular mouse with her when she uses her laptop. Each person is different so it just depends on what suits the individual best.

For the nearly four years i have been using my desktop.i dont have to move so much so for me desktop is suitable but in recent months i will switching to laptop because destops consume lots of power in comparison to laptop.

Though I am using Laptop in most of the time, I used to work with the desk top computers also. The reason is the heat generated is directly affecting us in case of laptops while working and this problem is not there in case of desktops. But my desktop is noisy one while working and just two days back I have sent it for servicing as I met some other problems also with it.I feel very comfortable while typing with the desktop keyboard than the laptop. But if it is the night hours,I will work with the laptop, while I am in the bed and in this I feel laptop is better.

I would still go for laptop. The convinience of still being able to do your work even if there is a power outage and being able to connect anywhere as long as there is a wifi access. Plus with laptop you can do your work or stuffs in your computer anywhere and anytime. Though laptop can easily deteriorate bacause it is travelling with you, It can be bumped or you can accidently drop it.

Laptops are convenient to carry and can be used while travelling. When you want to do some important work desktops are the best. You cannot concentrate fully on your work when you are travelling and you may tend to lose your concentration due to disturbances around you. Typing is easier in desktop compared to laptop. Without mouse moving arrow mark is bit difficult in laptop.

Laptop for sure since I can take it pretty much anywhere I please. It also doesnt take up much space and they are relatively cheap nowadays. I have a laptop right now that can pretty much perform and do the same things as most desktop computers and its a lot smaller and it was cheaper.
