I don't know if you know his music or not, but he's a huge country music entertainer. He's won several entertainer of the year awards. Anyways, I haven't actually met Kenny Chesney himself, but I know some of his family. He grew up about 20 minutes from where I grew up. My highschool had our last meeting before graduation and handed out awards and such and I was in chorale and his dad came to give a scholarship award to a senior who won it and we got to meet him. He told me that I had a good alto singing voice and that I would be a good singer someday. Kenney Chesney's mom is where he gets his good looks from. He gets his features from his dad. But his mom has been seen dating my family doctor. lol. I know his dad's not like totally famous but it's close enough for me. I also met his cousin who is almost like a splitting image of Kenney. Also, my band director that I had in highschool was teaching music at the local elementary schools at the time and has even got a class picture of him in 5th grade holding the guitar. She said that he told her back then that he was going to grow up and be a country music singer. He came into town and done a show at the county Fair before he got huge and we was able to see him perform before he got famous.

I've also seen acouple of other stars perform before they got big as well. Kenney Chesney used to come into Cotton Eyed Joe and play on there piano and play guitar. Thats where he got his start and now they are doing free concerts and minimal pay concerts for WIVK listeners. The most you pay for a concert is 10.00. I'm hoping that I'll get to meet and greet kelly pickler when she comes Sept. 2nd. We also seen Alan Jackson and the singer who sings Independance Day. When we was younger, WIVK done appreciaton concerts throughout my younster years. We was able to see alot of performers for free before they had there own headliner. Taylor Swift started out on WIVK as well. THats how she got famous.

The most famous person I met was probably George Bush senior when I was little when he was at my brother's graduation. I also met Barbara Bush while at the graduation, I know I had a picture in the newspaper with them but I have no idea where that is now. Governor Rendell of Pennsylvania went to my graduation, but I don't like him at all haha. I met a presidential candidate, Ron Paul (he makes an appearance in Bruno, the movie), I am a big supporter of his politics. Other than politicians, I have not met anyone really famous, no body with celebrity movie star reputations.

I once met Danny Devito and Penny Marshall when they were filming the movie Renaissance Man in Fort Jackson, SC. We saw Mark Wahlburg and that guy from A Different World walking around the base every now and then. I remember when I went into the chow hall and we were sitting eating chow that other soldiers made mention that Mark Wahlburg was told to leave the dining facility because he kept using foul language and talking loud. I was in basic training and when you go into the chow hall to eat you have to eat and eat fast-no talking. I don't know how true that rumor was but it was funny nonetheless.
Anyways, after our graduation from basic training we went out to a field and Danny Devito and Penny Marshall were walking around giving autographs. There were a lot of people surrounding Danny Devito when I approached him with my grandparents so he didn't actually get to talk to me much but he was a nice guy. And yes he is quite short!
Penny Marshall however looked like she was trying to be low key. When I approached her and asked for her autograph she complained about my pen's ink being low. I have pictures with the both of them as well. It was a fun time-especially being out of basic training!
I didn't get to meet the other stars but it was a fun experience and to think that we were being filmed while doing our graduation march was pretty cool!
