Laughing and crying are both the methods to show our emotions. There cannot be judgment based on these emotions and each one is appropriate at a particular time. Laughing is said to produce some chemical in the brain which results in increased immunity of the body. Whereas, crying is found to relieve the person of his pent up or suppressed feelings which haunt him day and night. So, these two expressions are essential qualities of life which need to be given due respect. Although laughing comes out naturally, crying doesn't. Crying is taken to be sign of weakness and we are told by many people to stop crying or don't cry like a child. This habit of keeping one self crying leads to depression if done on a prolonged basis. So it is better to cry when alone if you are very much sensitive to what the other people might say if they found you crying.
I have found out the importance of both and use them as my strengths.

Hello,
I think that laughing is definitely better than crying. When you cry, you not only emotionally hurt yourself, but also you might ruin your face with wrinkles as someon above said too. Laughter is good medicine. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I think it is wonderful to laugh. Crying is so helpful to let off steam. My favorite is to laugh until I cry. I have heard that a good laugh can help you lose weight. I am still working on that one!
