I have alot of trouble sleeping, even when I am very tired. There are times that my mind just won´t shut down, and it´s not just when I am worried about something. Many times I lay in bed thinking of things I should have done during the day, such as exercising or work related, or I just think about conversations that I have had with friends. On the other hand my husband can turn out the light and go right to sleep. As a matter of fact that is what is going on right now! He´s sleeping and I started thinking that I only needed 50 cents more for payout and hadn´t been on mylot for a week. Time to play catch up!

I tend to think about my responsibilities at work and try to plan what I am doing there. I also think about writing assignments online. Actually I am up right now because I am feeling sick at my stomach. I had been asleep for over two hours when it hit me.

I think what you're having is quite normal, most people are worried about something.Perhaps you can list out all your problems/unfinished work on a piece of paper and forget about it.Come back the next morning and try to solve as many as possible and by end of the day look how much you've accomplished.I learn this from Dale Carnegie.Sometimes you need some action to succeed, just like your plant, need water daily and occasional fertilizer. If left unattended it will not grow and die. This goes for Mylot payout he he he he...........

Women tend to take responsibility for more things and worry more about things and so they do not shut it off in their mind.

Hi GardenGerty, nice to hear from you again.I think men have more responsibilty nowadays and with the economic slowdown.More problems to worry aboutlike job security, cost saving, loan payments ,children education and living expenses, inflation and etc.Shouldn't men have more worries?

Women tend to be more emotional then men.. There for women worry about more things them men do.. If there is something that is really bothering a women, she may not eat or eat too much.. Or sleep a lot or not at all.. Men also seem to have that attitude that well there is nothing that we can do to change it so why worry about it.. and if you try to explain it to them it seems TO BE A WASTE OF TIME!!! They still do not get it.. It can be frustrating sometimes..

Not sure if I am right or not, not really worried about it.. That is just my honest opinion, it could be right or I could be totally off..

hi buddy1 Insomnia is lack of sleep. As far as the question is concerned it is not that women are mare prone. It is actually something that constantly disturbs you from sleep. A movie by Christopher Nolan by name Insomnia is descriptive about its symptoms and effects. cheers...
