Greetings, all...
As I stated in my discussion subject title, I have been searching SO long, to find an answer. MY question happens to be about a particular item which I have and have been trying to learn about for quite some time, mainly out of curiousity, though usually unsuccessfully! Sometimes my searching DOES become an occasional obsession of mine, and today, has become one of those days. But alas, still no answers. So that's why I'm posting this question. Hopefully one of the other myLotters here just MIGHT be able to help! *smile*...
In my case, the item is a picture in a really cool art deco sort of frame. On the back it even has old paper, plus a very thin straight across wire "thingie" to hang it up with and lots of little tiny nails all around the sides - on the back as well - which I've never removed. You know, seems like it could be one of those kind of things which some of us have seen others display on Antiques Roadshow. Not only getting to learn about the appraisal of their treasured trinkets and treasures, but also achieving their 15 minutes of fame! hahaha...
The picture I have was also in a W.C. Fields movie - I believe it was My Little Chickadee. I saw it and has also made me more intrigued to learn about the little picture that hangs on my bedroom wall. It was the calendar top of a pic in a bar room screen. Think the calendar was dated like 1937. Funny thing is, while I do have that movie on a VCR tape somewhere, I just don't know where! Was hoping maybe someone else knows what picture I'm speaking of. It's a very tastefully done picture/print or whatever of a naked lady on a hill. She's on the left, there's a small lake on the right. The view one sees is from behind and somewhat plain, there are also trees in the top to the left and sky in the right top. The lady has longish, brownish hair and is twisting it above her right shoulder in the photo.
I have researched and image searched, and googled and yahooed, oh my!! *smiles* But any real true info has always eluded me in my seeking. I have learned of great works by Mabel Rollins Harris, Maxfield Parrish, Zoe Mozert and found many other art resources along the way. While I realize this cool picture I have could just be an imitation of theirs or other similar artists works, I would so love to know if anyone out there in myLot land, could help to shed any clues or suggest any other info.
Take care,

Yes, I used too many words to write/convey my thoughts. But thank you busky5 for taking time to read it and replying. I think I posted my discussion under the wrong subject category for anyone to really even notice it, since I just used "General Discussion" topics when I posted. However, you were most kind to read and respond. For that I sincerely thank you! *smile* Perhaps someone else will eventually see this who could be able to help me find an answer to my question.
Take care,
