i watch the news at least twice a day. some of my friends tell me that is to much because it is just a repeat of what happen in the morning. they say there is just to much bad news and not enough of the goods things that happen during the day. Do you think twice a day 7 days a week is too much? What about to much bad news and not enough good news? What do you think?

During the week I usually watch the 11:00 news right before lunch. I am usually working on my lap top at that time and it is on. I am only paying half attention if something comes up that interests me I will stop typing for a moment and listen to what is going on, on the TV. But I usually know what is going on. I don't really watch the news on the weekend, and if I do it is the nightly news.

Hi happy
I do not think twice a day and 7 days a week is not at all too much. because what ever the news we see in the morning, the same need not be in the night. Because there is sufficient time between the morning news and the evening news in between lots of any thing may happen like major accidents, riots, or some sensational news or any other political news, which needs to be telecasted afresh. If no important news is there, then they will repeat the same thing, otherwise they will be showing the happenings and incidents with clippings.

I did not think it was to much because how else are we to know what is going on around where we live. I know we have the radio and the internet for news but I still like watching the new on TV better. Thank you for your respons and Happy Mylotting.

I think there's nothing wrong in watch the news twice a day, but it's true, sometimes evening news is a bit update from morning news. And about bad news and good news, well that what news are actually for. They reporting any bad news that happened across the world, I mean even we as human, are more interested or much more focusing in bad news rather than good news. If we saw good news, we just say "oh that's nice", "that's good" and etc. But if bad news, we will focusing to TV, want to see updates in few hours about what happening actually. Wondering, why it's happened. So, I think that's why TV and media, sometimes a little bit too much when they covering bad news rather than good news.

Yes, you are right we will focus on the bad news. Sometimes they report bad news to get the viewer involve. Maybe someone seen something that can help the police out. Without reporting the bad news some of the cases would not be solved. Thank you for your reponse. Happy Mylotting.

Hi happy
I watch the news on TV atleast 4 to 5 times a day coz, every minute there will be something happens which will be sometimes interesting to know. Esp. sports, that too cricket. Local news, everywhere some incidents happens, some accidents. So i want to know what is going on around. So i will watch the local news channel, where they will telecast the fresh news with video clippings.

I don't like watching news but sometimes it is inevitable especially during calamities. I don't like hearing bad news that's happening around the world. That's too depressing. Imagine coming from home and you will hear and watch the negative aspects in our society. I only use TV for entertainment purposes as much as possible.

Hi happy, I'm used to turn on my tv broadcast once I wake up every morning. And then I start to do all the daily routine and listen to the program at the same time. There are lots of songs played on air. News report heard in between regularly but I don't pay much attention to any of them unless there are some important news of major events
Normally my husband and I won't miss the latest evening news broadcasted at ten thirty local time here. We spend half an hour watching the latest news sitting in front of the screen. I quite enjoy watching the attractive ways of the two hosts in the news presentation. We skip it only on Sunday night for I prefer to watch my most favorite tv program which is broadcasted at the same time in another channel
Take care and happy posting

Hello my dear happy friend. I love to watch TV news and I love to listen to news on the radio as well. If I happen to watch TV news, it seems that the first 15 minutes of each hour in some channels always broadcast some news though the new might be the same, but sometimes it is different with the latest news updated. I love news as the news keeps us informed of what is happening around the world.

I dont get much time to watch news but still i watch it once a day. If i miss it, i feel to be outdated as i want to remain informed about everything. If there is very less time, i just watch headlines. Happy mylotting!

It also depends upon the number of hours spend watching news. For me i do watch news anytime a day for 15-20 minutes. Rest the same news is repeated throughout the day, whta's the use in watching it again and again.
And yep i do read news on internet also, some local, some business, some back home...
