I heard that green tea has a lot of antioxidants that combat the free radicals in our bodies thus has that "cleansing" effect. I also heard that it helps people lose weight. I am just wondering what component is has that makes you lose weight. Does anybody know?. I plan to buy some and will try this out.

Hello!
Green Tea is good for you because of the antioxidants in it , and also because it has something that they say helps speed up your metabolism. It kinda helps get the fire going and push away all the unhealthy (germs ) that make you sick . I drink diet green tea by swiss and it has honey and ginseng . It taste good and now I crave it. Usually , coffee, milk, green tea, and water is all i drink . I cant do pop anymore .

I like green tea very much. I drink two or three cups every afternoon, very pleasant and refreshing. I would say I have become addicted to green tea, Japanese, Chinese, Sri Lanka. There are different flavors too. My favorite is jasmine. Yes, I believe green tea has herbal value, good for the health.
