From time immemorial natural food has been considered to be the prime choice in maintaining sound health. However in modern times, we have turned to imbalanced culinary habits on account of a craze for artificial taste makers. It is time that we realize the fact that the so called palatable preparations extensively marketed are nothing but junk which are apt to destroy the digestive system and in turn be a cause for fatal illnesses.Nature has bestowed in plenty with a variety of food elements.....it is for us to be in close amity with the bountiful resources which NATURE has to offer us.

Organic foods are way too expensive. I tried it once. Too expensive to live that way.

The opinion was not centered on organic stuff alone. The warning was directly on the junk food available in plenty in eateries.

Even if there are a lot of instant food today I'd still prefer the natural food in the market. Instant food means instant life.

Hi sukumar, I completely agree with you. People are living longer due to advances in Medical science, yet our diet is such that the quality of life is often deplorable. Large corporations are becoming rich at the expense of our health. Blessings.

So true, suk. I'm fairly new to eating fresh fruit and vegetables. I've noticed that I feel better than I did when most of my food was considered "junk."

I recently heard from my ex mother in law about a diet she and my ex dad in law were one. Dad had had a TIA, or mini-stroke, and the doctor told him to cut out all the salt he could. They had always eaten healthy but since mother doesn't like to cook they were eating Healthy Choice frozen dinners a lot. Guess what? TONS of salt!!! They started paying attention to salt and lost 10 pounds each in two weeks. They weren't really overweight, just a little flabby in places but now they look great.
So I did it, too. It turns out that any processed food or frozen foods have lots of salt and preservatives! No more convenient food for me! I eat less now that I have to prepare everything myself. I feel a lot better, too.

That maybe true, but with all the chemicals and geneticl altering of our food supply I don't think that we will ever have a healthy food supply for along time. It is good to cut out as much processed foods as possible. I get fed up with how expensive organic, or natural foods cost.

Hello my friend sukumar794 Ji,
Whatever you have brought out is perfectly in order and it is requirement of time. We all know about it, but still, we take junk food. If I ask openely, please think, how many foods, you take in natural form starting with vegetables. At laest, Bitter-gourd and lady-fingers could be taken immediately after wash. Even fruits do not require to be washed, further how many leaves we consume, at laest 'neem' could be chewed. I have something else from web:-"Natural foods are foods that are minimally processed. Natural foods do not include ingredients such as refined sugars, refined flours, milled grains, hydrogenated oils, sweeteners, food colors, or flavorings.
Sucanat, stevia, raw honey, agave syrup and maple syrup are sweeteners often used in place of white sugar in a natural foods diet. Sea salt is also preferred over table salt.
Proponents of natural foods diets argue that refined ingredients promote obesity, diabetes, cancer, and heart disease."MaY god bless You and have a great time.

I agree with you 100%. Natural foods are so much better for you, with absolutely nothing artificial. I actually tried to shop everything organic but now we just try to save as much money as we can. With the economy the way it is you never know. But there are far more benefits from organic and all natural foods than the other garbage, they have gotten to the point that a lot of the food we eat has been genetically modified in labs. Scary aint it?

I too love to live on natural foods then the artificially created foods.. To because of the fast life and tir schedules one does not have time to prepare foods and eat natural healthy foods.. But i try incude more of fruits and vegetables in my diet.. and a lot of water and i think that should be good enough to have a healthy diet....

I was born in a family who eats vegetables everyday and eat meat like pork , bacons , chicken very rarely or should i say occasionally. When i gone to college i was like free of eating what i want so i chose to eat meat every meal , but a year after i feel very vulnerable to illnesses , also i can feel that my resistance of this illnesses are getting weak, so that's the time i decided to go back in eating vegetables, not a more likely taste foods but think of the benefits you're body can have. That's why i really love my mom trained us to eat this healthy foods, believe it or not my mom is already at the age of 40s nearly 50 but still she looks very young and sexy and mostly people sees my and and brother together as love ones coz my mom looks like 20s. So think of the possible things that can happen to you if you just maintain this kind Good Health that nature can bring to us.
