PC Games...can you help me?

I am looking for the best role playing/first person shooter or any games that can run in a 4+ year old system. I do want to buy a new one but I don't have the money yet, so I plan on getting my hands on older games, probably year 2001-2006. I have a Intel Celeron 2.6Ghz, 1G ram and a weenie 128mb Geforce MX. I've just finished Call of Duty 1 and 2 and Medal of Honor Allied Assault plus expansions. What would you recommend? I have a feeling that no other "Old FPS Games" can match COD 1 & 2. How about role playing? RTS?
