All of us have friends, some have more number of friends than others. Do you make friends instantly or do you look for a particular quality before accepting someone as a friend in your life. I look for honesty in all the people that I accept as a friend, tell me about your friends.

I look for his/her attitude. If it is okay with me I will accept him/her. On my own opinion we should always choose friends. It is because they are the most influential person in our life. They may change us for better or worst. So must always. Friends are only called for few not for all the people we meet.

I look for respect in a friend. Have you meet who put a judgment first on you before anything else? Like the person judge the way you look, talk, and the way you dress and then that person will treat you differently. Only when they like you they will treat you nicely and for that kind of person I don't think they have respect for otehr people and I hate that kind of person. beside that I also looking for sincerity and kindness. Who wants to be friend with a bad person, right?

I tend to make friends without realizing it until after the fact. :) The one thing that I admire and respect in a person that happens to be a quality in most of my friends is open-mindedness and the ability to talk about a belief with me that we oppose viewpoints on and NOT argue.
For example...my best friend once had a conversation on abortion. She is completely against it and I am pro-choice. Yet we could sit there and talk about it, be honest with one another, and even begin to understand some of the other person's points. It was one of the best conversations I've ever had...and I didn't even agree with her!
I'm a person that thrives on learning things, sharing intelligence, so all of my friends tend to be smart people who can have conversations without getting too emotional.

its hard to set any qualifications in having friends, those that came into my life regardless if they treat me as their friend or not, i consider them one of my friends..i am not that choosy, if you treat me nicely then we can be friends, if not, then, there are many people who wants to make friends with me so i will focus on them..hehe
