Do continue or not

I have been blogging for about a 18 months now and love it, but it does take up a lot of my time. With my google adsense I have made roughly $17. I have 77 readers and 15 followers; but is it really worth it?
I was getting discouraged buy yesterday I made 63 cents woo hoo!
I do offer giveaways and post freebies and good deals I have found; but there is alot of competition out there.
I was honestly thinking of stopping the blog and just concentrate on entering the blog giveaways and more sweepstakes.
Any thoughts, opinions, helpful hints, encouragement would be greatly appreciated!

If you only do it for the money I don`t know how you got this far :D i do it for fun, I never thought that I will earn thousands in a month :) if you like what you do that is the main thing that matters. Your future is in your hands, be careful with it, don`t drop it :) happy bloging :)

I do it for fun. I knew I wouldn't make a lot of money doing it but I am just re-evaluating my life and wondering if I should be doing other things on the computer versus the blog.
I like the blog because it is a digital journal for my girls also.

Well I would say continue as you state you love it and so why stop. If you feel it takes up too much time then try and find ways to cut down the amount of time you spend doing it.
Now you mention earnings and if you are blogging to make money then I would suggest spending some time learning about blogging from the likes of sites such as Problogger. Just by spending a bit of time doing this you will discover ways to not only earn more but improve your blog so that all the effort you put in makes it feel worth while.
