A zebra is black with white stripes, or it is white with black stripes?

Yeah, I think that the first poster answered just fine to your question. They are pink, if you do not believe it, shave all of their hair/fure. Only that is white and black, in the shape of stripes :)

It was previously believed that zebras were white animals with black stripes since some zebras have white underbellies.However embryological evidences shows that the animal's background color is dark and the white stripes and bellies are additions.

Zebras are pink, mostly, and have white and black striped hairs!
