I have a shih tzu who is now 11 years old. He follows me wherever I go. If I'm walking back and forth around the house when I'm cleaning he is back and forth and I have to tell him Cody please stop already go lay down. When he goes outside in the back yard he knocks on the door to come in. Its to funny.

I have 2 dogs, a bichon frise and a pomeranian. My bichon has learned how to ring bells when she needd to go out. I have small bells attached to yarn which I hang on the door handle, and she will hit them with her front paws. She learned that fairly young and figured it out the same day I put them on the door. When she wants back in, if the door is isn't shut tight, she will push it open, and come in along with the pom. Now the pom waits for the bichon to ring the bells as she doesn't do any of that as she isn't as smart I guess. They have kennels that are in my bedroon and when they are ready to go to bed, the bichon will whine and let me know, so oth dogs will follow me in there and go to bed. I guess I have them rained right. Have a great day, and happy mylotting.

Two dogs and two cats. A golden retriever mix and a pom-snow dog mix. The goldie thinks she is a lap dog and must try to sit or lay in your lap for attention. The pom-snowdog has most of the personality of a pom and thinks everything she can see is her territory including the side walk in front of our house and the curb space. The cats... one is an older cat named Smokey. She is also known as boss lady as she tends to tell everyone when it is bed time and fusses if we let the dogs out without a leash. She will crag and fuss at them is they go near the street and chew us out for letting HER dogs out. The other cat is just a loveable black n white cat named Patch because he has black over just one eye. He was one of 7 or 8 wild kittens from three different litters rescued. Patch was found nearly blind from an eye infection and attacking a trash can because he didn't know if it was another animal or something that was going to hurt him. After a few weeks of antibiotic eye drops for a scrathed cornia and infection he was fine. But he got so use to having so many other kittens around him at feeding time that we had to put his food in front of a mirror to get him to eat. Still doesn't like to eat by himself unless he is really hungry so he will fuss at one of the family or even try to get one of the dogs to come stay with him in the kitchen while he eats.

I had a wonderful black lab mix that I adopted a year and a half ago after my husband passed away. I loved that dog! Unfortunately, my life changed again several months ago. I started working full time for my stepson in-law who sells annuities. I was gone all day and hated having to put my dog in a crate while I was gone. I had my house up for sale also. I was able to find him the best home ever. Fortunately, I know the couple who have him now. My Buddy has another black lab to play with and since the owners have an invisible fence, he can go out and play without having to be on a chain etc. He also gets to sleep with their boy and he is so loved and I can visit him anytime I want which I have. I couldn't have found a better home for him and it made it a little easier to part with him knowing that he is happy and that I can see him. I miss him terribly, but I know that I did the right thing. Labs are so loving. cdejac

I have a mountain fiest which is a terrier breed. Her name is maggie, and she will not sit down when you say say. Instead she sits down when you say 'maggots' I dont understand why she does this but we discovered it when my sister was 4 and we were calling her funny names that had maggie in it. She also like to sit on top of the couch and look out the window like a cat.
