UPSET!!! PTC site gives me a virus!!!

Evening my fellow myLotters! First let me say that I love PTC sites but today really totally sucked! I spent late last night and all day today fixing my computer. It got a virus. The last site I was on was a ptc site. Before you ask if my computer had up to date anti-virus software...yes it did. I had to boot my computer up in safe mode and run scans...it took forever!!! I am upset about it but I am a little upset because I traded a referral for this site to one of my sites and I want to hold up my end of the trade. BUT I refuse to go on that site again. What to do?!?! Sorry for venting but I had to get it off my chest. Be safe and careful out there!! Happy myLotting!!

Well.. how did you come to know that, that site only spread virus to your system it may be possibilities to downloaded that virus from other source. if you are sure about that site then check with spysite blocker (normally zonealarm is preferable for this)and visit that site again. I don't think if you have good antivirus protection then any virus can come to your pc such a way.. just clear the catche, cookies, temporary files. (you can use ccleaner) and reboot your system.

yeah you are right. you can't direct predict that. well one suggestion is that you shouldn't keep 2 antivirus in one system they may conflict each other. Good Luck.
