Yes I do. They need the experience so that they can be better at holding a job when they are older. If they want to get a job and are able to handle one, I see no reason why they should not be allowed to. We teens need money too. Working at McDonalds does not cover everything!

It depends upon the job and the employer. Not all 14 year olds have the capability and maturity level to do jobs. I guess working in a computer shop, a liblary assistant, a part time cashier are some of the jobs 14 year olds can handle.What is more important is that the rights of these children are still stictly observed.

I think youngsters of 14 years old or more can do a lot of jobs if they just let them. This generation has pampered children so much that I have seen 40 year old Peter Pans. Many young people are able to do some jobs better than adults.
