hey there peeps:) soo..i took my son to see the movie Friday..and i must say..i dont think i have ever been soo disappointed in a movie in my life...theer wasnt much cool magic that blew me away like the others..not enough action..hardly at all i should say!! i just kept waitng for something...anything....sigh....nutttinn...:( and i wont spoil it..but one of my fav ppl dies..u can see that on the nety so i wont get yelled at for telling lol..i vried and cried and was like wtf???!! thats it?? soo if u havent seen it id wait for dvd..if u have..what did u think?

Yeah, I loved it. I have two sisters though, and one hated it because of what they changed from the book, and I believe you are like the other sister, hate it because you haven't read the book to know that the lack of action is just how it is. The book is very plot-light. Harry spends the whole book split between obsessing over Draco, trying to find out what he's doing, looking at the memories, and that's about it. Oh there's the whole mystery about the Half-Blood Prince, and what happened to Dumbledore's hand, and things to keep you reading. But there's no crazy person out to kill him, no crazy lady taking over the school, no over grown snakes petrifying people.... Six is pretty much the most boring year at school ever. Good for Harry, bad for us.
Which is probably why they played up the romance.
So I guess if you go into the movie knowing roughly what the plot will be like, but not expecting for it to remain perfectly true to the book, you'll love it.

well im glad u loved it..me not so much as i said..and i saw how hueg the books are and i know me id never finish them i have too much to do and when i finally get back toreading i have forgotten where i was or what was happening..and re read and who has that time!!! lol! soo next movie.is it going to be boring as well??

I'll wait for the DVD like I always do. A friend of mine did go see it and said it was nothing like the book and she felt gyped as well. To be honest I liked the first couple Harry Potter movies more than the later ones...the later ones seem more dark and depressing, the first couple seem funnier and lighter.

yeaa most deff,..i would too if i knew what t his movie was gonna be like..i loved all his movies..except this one..if i had teh time i would of read to the book to find out whats gonna happen and if i should see teh next one..and yea they first ones were funny..and now there so dark and sad..not liking it..what a bummer..ty for replyin btw!

I have never watch any one of the Harry Potter movies; but, I have heard the books and movies were quite a craze..
What is it about the movie that you didnt like?How have you been, by the way? How is your little one?

hey there Joy..long time no see:) i have missed u so much..well u shoudl watch teh movies..THERE FABULOUS!! AND FUNNY!! AND JUST WOWWW!! but this one..just didnt do it for me..wish i would of waited for dvd but sky insisted and u know how much i love that lil guy lol..well that and i do love Harry lol..and this movie was just soo boring to me..and i sent u a message here to let u know whats been happening with us..did u get it? Sky's good..hes happier that im home finally..he helps me with my machines hooking them up and all..hes such a great helper:) and i dotn think dormehck is there anymore..forgot abotu it and when to check it out..and its no where to be found..have u been there or seen it online?

I don't get out to the movies these days, so I have to wait for it to come out on DVD or even when it is on the tele.
i have heard that it was a bit disappointing this time round, so I'm not desperate to see it. I still have to read all the books, which I will get to one day!
