Pacman vs. Mosley?

Shane Mosley said he's willing to fight the Pacman at 140 lbs. if Cotto's camp doesn't agree on the said weight limit. This comes as a development after Cotto says he's not willing to go lower than 145 lbs. Mosley if you remember was defeated twice by Cotto both by decision. Cotto on the other hand was defeated only once by Margarito. After that fight it was apparent that Cotto wasn't the same as he was before and it showed with his last fight with Joshua Clottey. Cotto to my knowledge is two years younger than Manny and his boxing style is to my opinion tailor made for the Pacman much like Hatton's. Cotto is a puncher and a brawler, he doesn't backdown, but also an intelligent fighter. Shane Mosley is 36 or 37 and was recently became a world champion by defeating Margarito and in fact knocking him out. If Mosley is going to fight Pacquiao at 140 lbs. I believe some of those power will be shaved off and he'll be an easy target for Manny. But if I we're Manny I wouldn't underestimate Mosley because at this point in his career he still can dish it out. The fight I would really like to see though is between Manny and Mayweather, to settle the question once and for all as to who is the best pound for pound to date.

Thought it will be Mayweather? And I am also awaiting this fight for sure. There are also rumors around that Manny is considering retiring after this fight since he is now venturing in local politics here. He's running for a congressional seat come election next year.

Yes, by the urging of his mother this upcoming fight maybe Manny's last. As for his political aspirations I think he shouldn't, politicians will surely use him for what he is.

I agree on your opinion that Manny should stay out of politics. He was already a legend in Phil. history and once those dirty tricks on our local politics would get in his legendary name it might create clouts on some people. He should protect his reputation at all cost. He can help needy people even if he is not a politician.

You're right, Manny can help a lot of people without entering politics. Considering the money he's earned in boxing, if he's indeed going to retire he should retire clean. Besides I think he's got a lot of lucrative deals doing those commercials and I believe he's also an accomplished tv host and an actor of some sort.
