One of the most recommended get paid to or GPT site is CashCrate or CC. This sites pay(from advertisers money) you to complete offers such as doing surveys and trying new products. I have researched about this kind of sites. Some are legit and some are scams. Others pay for the first three years and then they stop paying. But CashCrate seems different. Every time I visit the website's forum, people keep posting that they received their payments(checks). The thing that I'm wondering is that they don't show pictures of their payments. Seems like they are showing that CashCrate is legit luring unfortunate people.

I'm pretty confident that it is still legit at this point in time, but again, you never know what happens in a month, an year, or 10 years time. Any GPT services can easily turn out to be a scam. Even the most reputable GPT, like Neobux or this myLot, may one day turn out to be a scam and close down. You never know...
Currently, cashcrate.com domain is registered until 15-Feb-2010, and it seems that they had been updating it every 2 years since 15-Feb-2006. Unless thier business go so badly, I assume that they would be around until end of the year at least.
If you are worried about wasting time on CashCrate or any other GPT, I personally think it's probably better idea to get a casual job in fast food restaurant for just few hours a week. You get paid much better from that in shorter period of time... :(

How all do you earn money on cash crate? From what I saw it was just for signing up for offers and trials and I dont want to do that. Can you make money another way from them?

As Ruby_Dawn says.
Besides, I only actively participated in CashCrate for first few week - basically going through all the signups until I got enough money for the first payment, and there after, I only logged in every month or so.
Reason for that is, when you first signup for CashCrate, there are so many offers that were built up before I signed up. Although, not that many new offers would arise once you have completed the first set of offers...

I'm glad that we no longer have to scan our checks & upload it.
Now we can just post a banner showing how much we earned so far.
The banner is probably in real time or has a small delay.

I completely agree!
I only completed 1 offer on CC ever...
It was for 40 cents. LOL!

Yes I have received checks from them in the past. They are one of the few legit sites that do pay.

So you received checks in the PAST? When you typed past, did it mean that they stopped paying you? Or did you stop doing offers? Thanks and I hope for your response!

I've seen hundreds of payment proofs for this website through-out the internet as well as a bunch of praises. It most definitely pays. If you want to ease your belief of whether a site pays or not I recommend checking out my website link in my profile. As it grows more and more "payment proofs" are posted up and while they're not 100% proof that you, yourself will get paid it definitely eases your tension and you can do further research if the "payment proof" doesn't exactly look authentic. Hope this helps.

I love cash crate and have been paid twice. I just wished they paid by paypal. I do the offers and average 40-50 a month.

Well... using PayPal would make more CashCrate legit to people. Wish you all luck. By the way, 40-50 offers a month is lot. Isn't few offers added each month?

Cashcrate is legit I got my first check from them last week although I recommend treasuretrooper. They make it more fun and there is a better survey program there. Read this blog http://www.howtomakemoneyofftreasuretrooper.blogspot.com
