Depends on what they do and how bad they hurt me. The saying is true as time goes by all wounds heal somewhat sooner or later. So mostly I forgive and forget but it takes a while sometimes!

Both forgiving and forgetting at very complicated. There are times I can forgive someone and not think twice about it, but I won't be able to forget about it. Know what I mean? I believe that circumstances determine whether you will forgive or forget.

Forgive so that the Father in heaven would forgive us although it is not necessary that we forget. Forgiving is different from forgetting. We can forgive, but we cannot always forget; otherwise, we lose our mind. It is forgiving that is important, not forgetting.

Its to our advantage to forgive, even when the person you forgive still craps on you.
I say my FATHER in HEAVEN, I forgive what hes beens saying about me.I don't have to tolerate it.
A Pastor once said,to someone who spoke to him that a certain person was saying things that were not true.
The Pastor turned around and said is it true?
If it is, do something about it.
If it isn't, don't worry about it.
Easier said then done though.
We have the tendency to protect themselves.
But we shouldn't need to if it isn't true.
FORGIVE AND GOD WILL FORGIVE YOU.
THATS THE BOTTOM LINE.

It is very hard to forgive and forget and somehow it made me think if you can forgive then you cannot forget and otherwise. As for me, I just let it pass, time does heal all wounds... that is a fact for me. =)

it works hand in hand and hand be a total stress reliever.
My partner says he will forgive but cant forget....I can tell you, it doesnt work, cos when he remembers, he does get upset and I cant see how he forgave them if it still bothers him.
I wish people would do themselves a favour and do both, its no use allowing things to eat away at you.
