Urgh, I was hit by a truck!

Ow! Full marks for the eye-catching headline. I'm mum to 4kids,so plenty ot talesto tell. The onethat stands out for me waswhen my 2year old twins were being got ready for their birthday party. Both were dressed in matching white linen outfits - then I let them in the garden while I put the finishing touches to the cake. Baaaaaaad mistake! Just as the first guest knocks at the door - aaaarrrrgh! My twins had found the barbeque ashes and decided to dive in for a quick snack. Both of them were covered - mouths, clothes, hair, everything! Quick apology, a quick dash to the bathroom, and lovely matching sets of tatty old clothes (which were all I could find) Motherhood - doncha love it?!

hi neildc!!! we're the same story here ...in my home we always have a big voice to make a refrain and to stop fighting like a jerk ...You know I have 3 kids they all boys so how can I calm down always if they always fight...Last night my youngest hit by my twin an hammer they play it and my helper could not watch it.And you know being a mom I have many things to do in our home and their dad also...That's why it's happen...

oh good that you are okay now...next time be alert okay? hehehe so that you can avoid anything that is thrown by your son! hehehe... i think that was really intended for you! just kidding my friend! anyway, i don't remember doing naughty things when i am still a kid but when i am already on my teens or 20's....mmmmm thinking...mmm can't still think! hehehe but my brother, when he is still a baby, i think about 2 or 3 or 4 not really sure...he bite my cheeks so hard and it wounds...and leave a mark there! and now when my brother is seeing that, he's asking me where did i get that mark, when i said he's the one responsible for it...he just laugh and pinch it...waaaaah! that boy is really naughty...but on me only...

hi neil! and you scared me a bit! i thought it was really like you were in a rough accident or something! :) i know little boys will always be like that. moms and dad should wear helmets, and not the little kids! he he he... whats your boy's reaction when he saw you bleeding? i could just imagine the scenario! :) well, i don't have that kind of thing that i can remember. i guess little girls in my old town way back then were just pretty laid back, no tvs, just radios and we are just contented with make shift dolls. :)

Is it as small cut in chin? IF it is why do you feel bad? I think you can go out with her and if you still dont like it, tell her how you feel. After all, she should at least care about the way you feel before acting or doing anything, or what do you think?

My friend use to watch 2 little girls. one was 2 the other 3. Well the three year old is always trying to make the two year old mad. One day she finally pissed the little girl off bad. This little two year old girl apparently decided to get revenge on the three year old. she took off her dirty poopy diaper and set it on her sisters pillow and then rubbed her butt on her sisters sheets. and yet we can't get this kid to use a potty but she already knows how to get revenge.

This reminds me of a news story I was reading the other night about parents getting injured by their children! Thinking back when my 3 kids were little like that the memories are "painfully hilarious" some of the ways you can get hurt are kind of funny. I think I would be hiding all sharp toys or letting him know he can't throw them.....lol...I'm sorry....I'm really laughing.....uhm....it's all fun and games til someone's eye gets poked out!! :D

Hi Neil, Lol! you can sue them but don't think you'll have any luck as they are not insured, no I haven't any children but hubby could be clusy sometimes when he throw a packet of potato chips at me and hit me on the nose, you know it did hurt me, I hope your chin is ok. Hugs. Tamara

I think you got lucky. My son threw a toy truck at me nearly a year ago. But unfortunately it hit my eye while it was wide open. It cut my eye and I suffered some horrible pains for a week. It still hurts every now.

My brothers and I were bored on a family camping trip and start playing Frisbee with a Melmac camping plate. Well one throw kind of got away on me. Hit my Dad in the nose while he was laying sunning himself. That must've really hurt. It bleed. I can't believe his nose wasn't broken like the plate. I was also surprised at this restraint. I expected to really get it for that one. I guess he was to busy trying not to bleed all over everything.

i think i'm a naughty girl when as a child.lol... then i climbed the high trees. sometimes for the fruits, sometimes for the firewoods, sometimes for the competition to see who could climb higher or quicker, lol...unluckily, one day, i dropped one tree, and hurt my right arm with a long wound with the blood bleeding. very painful, but i still dared not to tell my parents, i was afraid of beat or blame, lol... but my dad found it the next morning when i was sleeping. in fact, he was shocked and gave me careful care. i'm really too naughty, i feel now. now i even forgot how the wound cured, but the seam still can be faintly seen.

You are luck, you have just a small cut. It is surprise that you have been hurt by traffic accidence. now I know you were hit by toy truck. ha ha...

What's that? a flying truck? oops that must have hurt. and i thought it was a real thing. but it seems that it was as almost real. did you get mad or something? it remind of my nephew and my niece when they're young, when ever they feel upset they would throw their toys to their hearts content, while my cousin who's my cousin as well, couldn't stop laughing at them, glad she wasn't hit, otherwise it would have been different story.

No but I was hit by a car once. I don't describe that as naughty but active. We can't stop kids from being kids. My younger brother is one of them. I guess he must throw it really hard as you did bled. Wow~~~ But you should tell him not to throw his toys. One, yes, someone will bleed. Luckily it was you. If it was his brother, you'll have a hard time calming him down. Second, the toys will be broken and you'll need to buy a new one. Hmm...

When i was child , i was playing with toy car ,my younger brother took that car and trying to run away.I had another car with me and trying to hit to my brother with that car ,unfortunately i missed the throw and hit it on my dad'S head .
