Haters, how do you deal with them

I am humble to an extent, a realist and a virgoan , so naturally I call a spade a spade and unintelligent people bores me to the marrow even from my presumed bosses. My bosses who I have sacrificed and given a lot to because he took that position from someone else and I was called upon to open his eyes to the workings of the office now hates me because of my guts, style and cheerfulness even when he has done everything to pull my spirit down by cutting down my earnings. I have been thinking about sabotaging him for sometime, but am trusting you, my people to help me deal with this situation. Please help!

How can I make him my friend other than gossiping about his boss whom shares his secret with me? That I can not and will never do even if I have to give up this job. I naturally detest people who are not very intelligent or inspiring yet they will want all your loyalty for all the nect breaking sacrifices which they will not reward and when you'd ask for it... you will be request to kiss butt and let them have the shine always for something that does not relate to their line of duty! I will try though, thank you very much!

I would think long and hard when this kind of thing happens to me very often. If it happens once then I just try to glide by it without too much thought. When it happens again and again then I begin to think that maybe I might be at fault too and I try to change my attitudes and avoid situations which become abrasive from happening.

Am not sure about this. But I know I have over time looked inwards to try and see if there are things or habits I can change but it seems that when I try harder he keeps coming with different antics and ways to castigate me. Would you believe that he was saying that am being pompous and arrogant to him because I enjoy the goodwill of his boss. He as even accused me eavesdropping on him to blackmail to his boss...Just because the man respects me for my intelligence! And am in no way a threat to him! I get about 1/9th of his salary yet my style and cheerfulness infuriates him. I will see what I can do to adjust but am not going to let my lifestyle change because he hates me. My cheerfulness is my power even in the face of not so good circumstances.
