why do people turn their backs to God ?? :(

I think that it is human nature in times of trouble to blame God because we have to blame someone other than ourselves for whatever reason, My own belief is that God has given us the free will to live our lives the way that we chose. Which is what we need to learn, whatever the lesson that we have chosen for this life. But something that I firmly believe is that the human mind is unable to conceive of the infinite (GOD) when our own minds are so limited by what we know or think we know. God made everything but he had to have a way to do so, so he used the big bang there is too much order in everything in the universe and in man himself for there not be a plan, order doesn't just happen it is by the definition a planed event. And if God didn't exist then we would have killed ourselves a long time ago. but this is just my opinion.

Well, you know what, it's human nature to prove or disprove something. We all have the ability to think, this is why we question everything. It doesn't really mean we don't believe in God, nor does it mean we have all the answers. Regardless faith, there will always be people who'd like to prove God doesn't exist. Perhaps it's brought about by the environment they were in, or perhaps it's how they perceive things to be due to past experiences and influences in their lives. Still, there are others who might have been traumatized by past experiences which has made them numb and where they lost their faith. This doesn't mean they are turning their back against God. It simply means they have not seen God's power and grace in their lives. You need not be disappointed, since it's their choice not to believe in God. It's not your fault that they've blinded themselves or time has blinded them to think that they can exist without God. You should be happy that you've found God earlier and have felt His presence in your life. Good luck!

It is a sad case when people decide that God is no longer relevant in their lives. I guess it is just a fulfilment of the scriptures really. Especially 2 Timothy 3:1-5 says: [i] "But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of stress. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant abusive, disobedient to the parents, ungrateful, unholy, inhuman, implacable, slanderers, profilegaters,fierce haters of good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding on the form of religion but denying the power of it. Avoid such people."[/i] So it should come as a surprise to you that people today choose to not believe in God because the Bible clearly states that this will happen. Even Jesus elaborates this in the whole chapter of Mathew 24. Our duty as Christians is to go into the world and preach the gospel, not convince or try to change people's minds, rather just tell them the good news of Jesus and it is up to them to accept or reject, after all, God does not force you to choose him rather he gives you the option to choose him. He gave us free will so whoever chooses to turn their backs on God then that is their choice (sad choice)

God is invisible. So if you're looking for evidences of the existence of God, you surely stumble on the wall. That's why God chooses and show his mighty to those innocent, ignorant, humble, simple person for they weren't looking for evidences. They simply believe and trust the invisible God. Yeah, we can't blame those people who turn their back to God. They didn't have strong foundation of faith. The storm of their life bring them to nowhere and uncertainty. Unlike others who suffer, and turn their suffering into faith and love in God. We really need to pray for them.

Yes that is really disappointing. Their are people really don't believe in God and they keep pushing away God. They say that God is not real. That if God is real then why there are sufferings, pain, failure, poor and so many reasons. It is not only us who suffer but also him. He is trying to pull us from satan but all what people do is choosing the life with satan. They are keep on doing sins and they let them be tempted. This is not God's fault anymore because he keep on trying to put us back to the path- way to him but there are people choose to go to the other way.

OMG, what year is it now? I can't believe there're still stupid people like you. There's no such man/woman called G*d (stating that word out just makes me feel gross). There's no evidence of such dumb thing except for a cheap book from evil d*cks who tried to take over diligent people's land, labour and money. Plus, science is real, evolution is real. And at least there are transparent evidences to prove their existence. OMG, wake up!
