You know what really bugs me? The fact that I have just wasted about 3 full days fixing my computer up because of some stupid email I received from someone who had received one from someone else, etc. Has anyone else ever been in the situation where you have had your computer infected spyware or viruses? How did you go at removing it all? However there are some great forums online where you can post your log (normally a certain program is used by the guys at that forum) and they will have a look at the log for you. They also give you a written response on how to fix the problem. You can find these just by looking up your problem on google and go to the forusm with the questions relating to that virus or spyware.

Hijack This might be the program you are talking about, where you can post a log of programs that are running. At PC World Forums (Press F1) in New Zealand there are experienced people that help others (anywhere in the world) once a log is posted. Hence they can fix any offending programs, including using other malware programs and procedures if Hijack This cannot find/detect any offending program. Once such person (Speedy Gonzales) has replied about 24,000 times and has, I believe helped/fixed hundreds of people's PC's with any malware issue.

thanks for adding that and clarrifying that information mate! really? 14,000 times, damn! That's bloody good stuff! Congratulation to those guys! Imagine how much money and time they have saved people around the world by doing this for free.

lol.Do you install a antivirus software ? The email must contain a virus .Don't open a mail from strangers. You should reinstall operating system .It is a best solution for u.I think.

I can't say that I have, and by the way it sounds I wouldn't want to either. Mine will go into the junk mail folder if it thinks it is junk. Blelieve me I have had things in there that weren't and some that were. I have received malware on my computer and that messed it up so bad I had to reformat the computer and it was only a few months old at the time. It was on a website but not sure what it was, and whay it was there. I am sorry ot hear though that you had spyware and viruses. I would scan it for viruses to see if there are any.
