Do you have a home phone (landline) or cellphone (wireless) or both?

I ask this question because I have friends that are not paying for the home phone. Some of them even have children and there children have cellphone. I can understand if money is short, you have cellphone but what other reason for not having a home phone. Maybe I will disconnect my homephone!

Well I think now,the usage of a cellphone as a homephone is more prefered by many families..cause if you see it in some point, you can use a cellphone incase of emergency anywhere and any time..unlike for a homephone you can only use it at home..and for some the reason is they already have a cellphone each so why do they still need to have a homephone..
Even for me if I were to choose which one I will use I prefer to have a cellphone than a homephone..though homephones are much more cheaper because of the bill, cellphones are more handy and also cheap in some way because of it's main feature wherein there's texting and call..

We actually have both a land line and each of us a cell. The home phone is used mostly for business and to wake me up if I don't hear my cell when work is trying to get a hold of me. My boyfriend and I both work out of town and instead of charging up a huge cell bill we decided to get one each that way we can stay in contact in case of an emergency. The cell definitely comes in handy whenever we have to take long road trips too so that if we run out of gas, have a flat, or just plain break down it's a life saver.
