When I was small I remember my father would take me to the river to show me how to swim , he tried very hard to teach me but i could not because I was too afraid of the water in the river I felt i would get drown, today I am learning to swim from my boyfriend and I regret the days my father was teaching me because now I think that if I were a bit receptive to his teachings I would not have been here, learning from my boyfriend who scolds me from time to time though.

I was severely disappointed when I took a bath in a lake once after being told it was such a great experience. My family rented a houseboat for a week and therefore had to bathe in the lake. After bathing once, my main reason for not doing it again, believe it or not, was because I didn't think the fish living in the lake should be breathing in the chemicals from the shampoo and soaps we were using. I knew I wouldn't have liked it if someone dispersed chemicals in the air in my house that I had to breathe, so I didn't do it again. I can see your reasoning for liking it, but I don't think I'd do it again! :)

Where I live the rivers either have too strong a current to swim in or are too polluted sadly. I'd like to swim in a river or stream hopefully one day I'll take a holiday to a place that has one that is safe to swim in. Swimming in pools helps me relax too and is good for working up an appetite, I used to swim a lot I should get back into it as it's very good for you.

when i am just a kid about 9-11 years old, i always like going to my grandma's house and spend a vacation there coz they are living near the river...(just about 10 mins walk from their house)... i really enjoy playing and bathing on that river with my cousins...and the fresh water is really great! i just simply enjoy taking a bath there coz there are also part where we can swim...and there are shallow parts where we can lay our backs and just let the water flow in our bodies! and there's also a well there, where we can get good water and we take a bath there! some peole also do their laundry on the river...(on the shallow part and just on the sides...) but now, i think that river is no longer as nice like before...

I was raised in Alaska where we didn't have any running water or electricity for a very long time. More than once I took a bath in a lake. I wouldn't do this anymore, unless I was out extreme camping or anything, but it is very relaxing. I used to go swimming in a river when I was a child, and it leaves you very relaxed. It is a workout to, which is why you feel hungry earlier. I think it is great to enjoy nature like this.

I always enjoy the outdoors, including bathing in streams, rivers or lakes. I have had my time under the sun, working in rural areas where bathing in pristine streams is just a dreamlike experience. On the downside though, you must watch out for pesticide or chemical flow into waters from farms that may be upslope. Worse, a carabao may be enjoying a bath as well upstream! :D

When I was still in the province I used to take a bath at the river or the falls, it's cool and refreshing. The water in the farm and mountain is largely different from the water in the faucet. Natural water is very refreshing and soothing, it feels like all my troubles and turmoils had gone and healed.

I love baths. I take them at home very often. There is a place near me called Hot Springs. It is in another state but only a couple of hours away. I have been wanting to go for a while now. There are apparently some mineral rich springwater resevoirs. I would love to bathe there. I do go to a waterfall in my area to swim but the water is very very cold.
