It is against the MyLot guidelines to share PayPal accounts. Under the guidelines page it states: "Do NOT Share PayPal accounts. Please use only one PayPal account per myLot account." You can read all of the guidelines at http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx If MyLot finds out you're sharing PayPal accounts, you could have your account banned from the site. So even if you can find someone on here willing to trust you to share their account with them, you could be putting that user (as well as yourself) in danger of being kicked of MyLot.

pkay, here's what I'm doing. My mom is the one that has a checking account with a debit card so I used that account with hers after she give me permission too and put the email address with pay pal in this for myLot. What this does is verification for pay pal also allows your mom to buy and sell online because the majority of companies use pay pal as a form of verification. No one else can access the account and no one not even pay pal can transfer funds to the pay pal account. Your mom would have to okay the transfer and the amount before Pay pal touches the account.

I can quite understand your dilemma but I don't understand how that would work. Surely you would have to share it with someone in your location and not just anyone?

I would never share it with someone I really know. Because it is my money. I can never be sure if you are planning to take the money and disappear or not. What are you going to do with the money in PayPal? If you just want to spend it online, I don't think verification is needed. I have never bought anything with my paypal but I sent some money from one paypal to another paypal and both of the accounts were unverified. So shopping should be similar. If paypal doesn't allow you to create an account because of your age, then write fake information ;)

I[m sorry but I will not share my information with anyone I don't konw, and I don't efen tell my family either. It just isnt' safe to do that onlline as there are so many bad people out there, not that you are, but it just dosn't make sense to give out the inforamtion when I have wored hard for the mony that is there, and I don't want to jeopardize that. I hope you find someone that will be willing to help you. Good luck and happy mylotting.

oh, that really su**s for you kid. sorry to hear about that. well, you just have to wait until you're of legal age before you can withdraw your hefty amount. i'm sorry but sharing paypal is like sharing your own personal toothbrush, so i'm off for that. sorry again. cheers!

I would never be sitting here and asking a stranger to help me out and use their pay pal account. That is ment for you and only you. I wouldn't even want to even ask someone here in mylot or anywhere else if I can use their account to put my money in there. With this world how it is it's not worth it. Ask a relative or talk with you mom about helping you out. But pick someone that you trust. You don't want to end up with nothing in the end.

There is always going to be more bad people than good. You may have met some good friends offline but online is different. Yes you do meet good people online but you have to be careful. However over time you will notice that your friends list goes down and you find out who your true friends are.
