I been using free personal anti-virus software that I can found over the net such as avira, avast and avg but still my computer always penetrated by a virus, worms and trojan. I can't afford to buy pro or license software because I cannot afford to buy those software. Aside from these software, what is the best anti-virus for you that is free and available in the internet? Thanks in advance.

The best anti-virus according to me is Avast, avira, nod32. The best of them is Avast its really very cool. It easily detects the virus and it also keeps running all the times and if found with any virus or adware it detects it and deletes it
Avg is also the best, few days ago i had installed more than 1 anti-virus and it was like the anti-virus fighting within themselves to catch the virus suppose if i start the scan of flash drive with avast the other anti-virus that is avira suddenly detects it and also deletes at the same time. and vice versa.

I use AVG but I also use a web based anti-virus software that will find anything that is on your computer that shouldn't be
It's here http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
It takes a while to run because they are so thorough but well worth the time. I run it overnight while I am sleeping

I switched to Avira lately, before I used Avast and a friend of mine recommended Avira as the next free AV on the net. I also added Comodo Internet security, they act as another set of firewall other than the Firewall provided by Microsoft. they have a much stricter Firewall. Comodo has a free version too and you can easily download it in their site.

I use avast, and my dad uses avg. They are both available for free download on download.com. They both have high ratings and there are settings for them to automatically update so you don't have to worry about remembering.
I hope one of these programs work for you!

I wish you luck so you can find the best anti-virus for you. I am also in searching for one but so far I have not decided. But the ones that I have heard of more are the ones you mentiond avira and avast. I was told that they are reallty good by many people I don't know why the might not be working for you. But good luck again.
