What is your post per day goal?

How many posts do you try to get per day? I was thinking about setting a daily goal in order to motivate myself to participate more. Do you guys have a goal? Is it sometimes hard to reach? Also, I've noticed many of you say "I worked hard" and "keep up the hard work" do you really consider posting things on mylot work? I think it's more fun then work.

That's a good idea, ever time I sign on mylot I can post a small amount before I log off. Instead of forcing myself to do it all at once. Thanks for the tip!

I don't really set a goal. I would spend as much time as I can each day in myLot community. My full time job takes most of mt time each day, and so by the time I am back home, it is close to sleeping time. But, I do like to come on to myLot every evening and see how the community is doing. I would then post messages and respond to messages as much as time permits.

I understand with the job thing, but I don't have a job right now so I could spend all day on mylot, but I usually get bored or distracted. I need to be more involved so I can make more friends and stuff.

hi greenline! i was just wondering a while ago if there was actually a person with a perfect reputation of 10. i'm glad i didn't have to look far. i bow to you your highness! great job!
anyway, to answer the question i usually make it my goal to post at least 10 posts per day. since i like joining in discussion, sometimes i would lose count. usually the number of posts i make each day fluctuates. that is because there are days that i read more on the comments than post.

My only goal is to have fun here!
I do not consider 'playing with friends' as work at all.
I spend my days very differently here depending on my mood and what other Lotters are up to. One day I might stay the whole time on only a couple of discussions commenting backwards and forwards with the users while another day I might be dodging from one discussion to another. Everything depends on who is on, what the interesting topics are and how much time I have available.
I do not think about the earnings at all and they add up by themselves
Welcome to myLot and I hope you willhave fun here too!

Hello kidswanttehcno0,
I do set a post per day goal usually somewhere in the ball park between 20 and 25 posts, or sometimes I just go until I see a number I like, such as 111, 123, 222 etc - yeah I'm odd like that lol. The only times I think myLot posting is "hard work" is when there are no interesting discussions to post in (becoming more and more frequent as the days pass) and you end up having to re-iterate what the last guy above you said. Really a pain.
Good topic though, ^.^, and happy myLotting!

Thank you for your post! I am also like that, with the good looking post count next to my name. I guess that in itself is a motivation to post a few more before signing off mylot for the day.

Most of the time posting is more fun than work! But sometimes, you really have to push yourself. It depends on the quality of the discussions. Some days there are lots of really interesting discussions I get really into! Other days, I can't find a single discussion I want to respond to! On those days, it feels more like work! I push myself to respond to discussions even if it's really hard for me to think of something to say in response!
As for a daily goal, my goals vary by day. First of all, it depends on what kind of day I'm having! If it's one of those days where I can find lots of interesting discussions to respond to, then I'll set a much higher goal for that day. If I log in and can't find any discussions worth responding to, then I'll try to make an effort to post, but I'll set a lower goal for that day. Sometimes my goals are based on how active I was the day before. If I didn't respond to a lot of discussions yesterday, then I'll set a goal to post a lot of responses today.

I agree, I was very active today, there was many exciting discussions. I had about 30+ posts today and I'm happy with myself. But I agree with the pushing yourself to come up with a response, sometimes it's hard for me to expand on something I could say in a few words or one sentence.

I don't have a goal on mylot per day, I just try my best to post as much asI can everyday, I grab chance to post when I see some interesting topics and I create discussions when I think of some fun topics. My motivation per month is the minimum payout every month, I just don't want to miss it, I want to at least reach the minimum payout per month.

I try to get at least 10+ posts a day, but most of the times I get more. I don't set a daily goal though. I don't very much money at all for my posts, I guess I am just boring or something lol. I don't consider myLot work.

I dont set any goals here at mylot , I do lots of reading though and end up I make few responses, I am not choosy though its just that I only respond to topics in which I could actually share my knowledge better and if I find a topic in which is beyond my capacity to respond or relate with then I just skip it. The greatest response I have for a day is only 30 I guess and that is only once lol most of the time 5 responses or 10 depends on the time...

On my 1st day here, I posted 19 discussions. Sometimes, the problem is to find a topic of my interest. It is not easy to see from the thread. I depend on the search. Do I have a target? Not yet. But maybe soon. :)

Hi there, well i dont really set goal but last night i have already 965 posts here so i said i will reach 1000 posts before i go to bed. Too bad that i dont reach it because after posting my discussion we have experience power shortage here and just came back this afternoon. Now i am still working to reach 1000 posts but i guess i will reach it now because this is my 996 posts already, keep on mylotting.

My per day goal is around 20 posts. Sometimes I am not able to achieve it, so the next day I post more and make up. I think with this goal I can reach payout within 2 months, so that is enough for me. Yes, it is more fun than work, I get to know a lots of things daily.

It is not that I set literal numbers in my mind, but it always depends on what my mood is. Sometimes I can post for like 20 post in a day but there are also times that I would just comment and not post new discussions here at mylot.

I do not generally set any goals. Whenever I am online, I log on to mylot and check the updates in the community and if any discussion catches my attention, i post my responses. I consider mylot more as fun rather than any specific work..:)
And if I feel like i require viewpoints for something that has been bothering me, i start a discussion..
Hope that helps..:)
