Who played the best Bond?

I grew up in the Roger Moore as Bond era, so for me is my favourite Bond, I don't understand why people hate Timothy Dalton I thought he played an excellent Bond. My two favourite Bond films are Moonraker and Living Daylights, with Moore and Dalton respectively. Tonight I have just watched the very first Bond film, Dr No with Sean Connery. All the Bond movies are excellent, I have to admit I am least struck on Craig in the role, whereas before I would be rushing out to the cinema to see the latest film, but with Craig I have yet to see Skyfall.

I've always enjoyed watching Roger Moore in the part, but that's more because I enjoy watching him playing that particular type of part that he's famous for - whether it's Simon Templar, James Bond or Brett Sinclair, he usually plays it the same way. Nothing like the Bond in the books though, who's a much grimmer character. For me, the actor who's played Bond closest to the way the character is in the books is Daniel Craig.

I have seen all of the Bond movies with Sean Connery, George Lazen, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig. I liked all of actors, however, Sean Connery is my long-standing choice. My family and I are having a heated discussion as I write this post. We all have I favorite choice. Of course, my favorite is the right one:-)
