If you've taken the MCAT or are planning to take it, what have you done (or what are you planning to do) for studying?
I bought one of those preparation books, but aside from that I haven't done much else. I plan to take it in 2 months.

All I did was buy some books and review my first year basic sciences notes. I find classes kind of useless for the amount of $$$ they charge - you should be fine without classes as long as you are disciplined enough.
Best review books IMO are the Kaplan and Exam Kracker series.

Yeah, I don't have the $$$ for the classes. I ended up using the Barron's book and just took the MCAT last week. I had a lot of trouble with the time limits due to my reading problems, but hopefully that didn't set me back too much. I'll see when the scores come out though.

I took those Princeton prep classes. Cost lots of money (had to save for a bit).
Classes are helpful but i think most of the money went into books. I received like 5 books i think and those were much more helpful.
Teachers helped but they were teaching straight out of the book.
I haven't taken it yet but I hope ill take it soon ^^
Good luck on your exam

Thanks! I had always wondered how those expensive classes were. Unfortunately, I didn't give myself enough time to be able to take those. But I did buy one book and if I can read 20 pages of it per day, I will finish it before I take the test. So I'm hoping I can do that.
Let me know how you end up doing! I should be taking it around the middle of September.
