If you were given an opportunity to rewrite your whole life and tear off some pages from your past what is it that you would like to change? Supposing today you are given an opportunity to write your own script what would you write?

Hi there! I think I would like to re-write my entire life and would like it to change as per my wishes and likings, which is only possible hypothetical. I think, most of us would like to re-write our lives, as we all have faced ups and downs in our lives and we always feel that our lives could have been better than this. Interesting post!

At the stage of my life at present i know fully well what my goal is. When i look back i see that half my life was spent uselessly pursuing those goals which had nothing to do with what i was meant for.Yes, i did enjoy what i had done but if those things could be cut off and if instead of them i were to replace them with the path which would lead me to my goal then i would certainly re-write my life from scratch and make it more meaningful and purposeful.

I can't say I would want to rewrite my life - I've already lived and survived it and now know that those things in my past are what have made me the person I am today... Ok, except maybe I would be a best selling author and happily married to the man of my dreams :)

Hi dear, I would like to live again with my mother. All other things I can forget and don’t want it again. But I can’t accept the way she left us. She was eagerly waiting to see us but when we reached she was in a hospital freezer. I can’t accept the truth even now after three years. Sometimes we hurt some people without our knowledge. The second demand must be to rewrite my life without those mistakes. I know it is not possible and your question is a hypothecated one.

This question is a hypothecated one. But just thinking of the changes we could make gives us a chance to think of the mistakes made by us and how we could have changed it. Realizing our past mistakes helps us avoid the same in future.

Having the power to fulfill ideals, I will definitely try to make it almost perfect. Though that would just be a fantasy world since I know that the one I rewrote isnt the 'world' or true reality for me. I also think that having the chance to change just one little detail of our past would change everything from that point on up to the present. We wouldnt be able to live in the present as we know it today. It would kinda be like an alternate universe/dimension and being inhabitants of the 'old dimension', it wouldnt feel the same with the new one. The things that I want to rewrite is to take all the opportunities that I let slip by and which I felt a slight regret with. I can think of a few specific things, but other than those that I can think of, I wouldnt change anything else in my life. Ive grown accustomed as to how it is today

Hi, Yes i would love to make some changes. I always wanted to be an athlete in life and do something in sports but now iam in the mean corporate world. At times i find myself that iam wasting my youth and energy in something, which i never wanted to do. Other than that in my teen years i had innumerable fights which iam really ashamed of. I realize now that those were the golden days of life, which i could have utilized in doing better academically or even doing some social work I understand that still there is lot to do in the future, so instead of repenting I look to do some social work so that I can so some virtue in life. Over the years i have realized that time is the real essence of life and once its gone then its no use repenting it. Cheers, Tutul

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Why change things that brought me to where I am now? By changing things in my past, I could end up going through even worse things that I already have, so I'd rather keep the past i have.

hi mayka I would instead of having got a b a in english Iwould have got a b s in library science and gone on to be a reference librarain and made a whole lot more money. I love working in a library, and would have been very good at it. that is what I would have rewritten. a reference librarian not a page. that would have been such a wonderful thing.I would make my more outgoing, more extroverted and much less shy too.

tHE PAST IS JUST THAT THE PAST NOT MUCH U CAN DO ABOUT IT & U DON'T GRT THE CHANCE TO RE-WRITE IT. As for the future i would hope for better health which isn't going to happen & that i will be able to take care of myself as long as i live.

Do I get to add talents? If so I wanted to be a pop singer, let's add a great voice, contact with the right manager, someone who loves me and only wants what is best for me. Add all that together with $1.50 and you could get a cup of coffee.

Well, there are many things in our lives which we wish to change . Some were the errors related to our personal relationships ; like fighting and breaking away from some friend . Other could be ; not preparing well enough for some particular exam . Another could be jumping from one company to another without too much of planning . There could be numerous things . Yet , the major change would be "being firmer and bolder" in many aspects of my life in the past . regards

ohh boy ... I would love such an opportunity. Its not regret but its curiosity. What if I had done some things differently or made some different choices :) I made many mistakes in life and paid the price for it too, but I dont want to change those mistakes when I am rewriting. I want to change the choices I made. Like when I chose engineering to physics when graduating. Or chose @@## to @#@# as my first girlfriend ;) ...lols.. Interesting.. the more I think of this, I am getting more ideas.. lol Nice discussion to start mayka!

I think its hypothetical situation. If its possible, I will try to rewrite the acreer as more brighter case. Will also try to be very serious in study.
