My favorite sport is cricket. I don't miss any cricket match especially if India is playing. I would prefer to watch the matches in TV rather than going to stadium. My whole family is fond of cricket. When I was a kid, I acted as if I am feeling sick so that I could stay back at home (not going to school) to watch a cricket match.
What is your favorite sport?
What makes it interesting?
How often do you watch matches?
What are the sacrifices you go through to watch those matches?
Are you intereted to watch your favorite game in TV or stadium?

It is nice to find another person who is interested in cricket like me. I like Sachin Tendular a lot, I mean his batting style. When he came to my state to play in Kochi stadiumm, I was there. I was expecting and waiting to see Sachin's batting style directly. But, in that match Sachin got 5 wickets and became 'Man of the Match'. It is a nice memory. Thanks for the response.

Yes dalia. I suppose you are mentioning the India vs Australia match that was being held in 1998 at Kochi where Sachin scalped 5 Aussie wickets to be named as Man of the Match. I just cant forget that match. Even Ajay Jadeja scored an Unbeaten century in that match I believe

Hi, great my friend. I meant the same match which you have mentioned. When I was writing that comment for your resposne, I tried hard to remember the year, but I couldn't. Now, I understood that you are not only a cricket fan, but also a cricket encyclopedia. Thanks for the response. Hope India team will do better in the future.

Hi daliaj,
I followed a lot of sport axtivities like football, badminton, hockey, tennis, golf, F1 and a lot more. But my favorite is football, or soccer for the American. For me, football is the most interesting sport. I like the speed, dribbling, the movement and the suspend that come with it.
I do sometime to go to stadium to watch my local games. But I followed English Premier League mostly. I am a Liverpool supporter. I always watch a live telecast whenever I have a change to do it. Since I live in Malaysia, live telecast from England range from 7.00pm to 3.00 am here. Sometime when Liverpool play at 2 or 3 am, I will not going to bed that night. Or I will slept earlier and woke up when the games going to played. European Champion League is another competition I hardly miss. And all their games played around 2 -3 am here.
I always dream to be at Anfield and sing the Liverpool anthem proudly before, during and after the games like they always do.
Happy mylotting and have a nice day.

Thanks for taking the time to write a detailed response to my discussion. It seems you are into a lot of sports, like my husband. I am not very fond of sports other than cricket. It is good to watch sports and get involved in that. It will refresh you and keep you moving with enthusiasam and sports man spirit. Thanks once again. Happy mylotting.

my favourite sport would have to be volleyball. I used to be a member of the red team back in highschool. I also enjoy playing basketball with my girls but of course the guys would always show off they're "skills" whenever we were in the middle of a good game. as for other sports, i like watching people swim in the olympics.

There is another way of saying - you like to see people in swimming suits. Lol. No offenses please. I am just joking. I like swimming, but I don't think there is fun in watching swimming. am sorry, this is my personal opinion. I like volleyball a lot. My college has a very good volley ball team and I used to go for matches when I was in college. You made me think about those nice days. Thanks for the response.

My favourite sport is TT, this sport is too fast and you need a lot of concentration to play this game. Many people believe its so easy to play but its not thats easy and I can bet anyone who says this is a easy sport.

Do you mean Table Tennis? Even I thought that it is an easy game even though I have never tried it. I have only seen others playing it. It is nice to hear that you are interested in it. Anyway, I am not there for the bet, because I have not practically experienced it. Thanks for the response my friend.

My favourite sport was also cricket. I represented my college in mysore. But i lost interest in the game after the match fixing issues came up I felt cheated rather these people were cheating my country for the sake of money. I couldnt digest. The biggest culprit who indulged in this shameful act is, if i may use the word 'traitor' is an MP today. Thats why we are like this.

Me too lost interest in circket for sometime when the news of bribery and relatd stuff came out. It was the time of Hancy Chronia, Jedaga, and Assarudin. Indian team was doing pathetic for soemtime after that. So, I completely lost interest. Now, I started viewing it again after Dhoni came into picture and Indian team won the 20-20 tournament, and with the starting of IPL. Thanks for the response.

Run! Yep, it's my favorite sport.. Actually I don't like sport, never get more than 60 in school,, so, for me,the easiest sport is run,,and I love it! Run make me happy, I feel the wind blows my hair and I like the sensation when I move my leg and arm fastly. Sometimes when run, I imagined that I run from all the problems in my life,it's fun. But, I love watching all sport (especially Olympiad!)

It is nice to hear that you love running. Do you go for running every morning? Many times I decided to go for walk or run in the morning, but it has never happened. When I was doing a night shift job, I used to see many people running and walking on the way back to home early morning. It is good if you can run away from problems in life. Thanks for the resposne.

my favorite sport is either tennis or golf. these are the only two sports i play. the only problem i have with them is that they are pricey. im still an amateur, but ive been progressing very well these last couple month.
i dont watch golf on tv, since i find it really boring. i only watch tennis whenever i get the chance since i dont have cable.

Mine is tennis. I started playing tennis in my high school years. Since then I became addicted to the game. I still play tennis whenever I have the chance, a good court and the time for it. I also would not miss to watch the "Opens" annually, French, Wimbledon, U.S. It is so exciting to watch the top players playing against each other ! I am not one of them though ! Ha ha !

I'm a football fan of all time in my life lol... I fan ManU, I've never missed a ManU match last year. I dont have to skip school for watching because they always play at night at my country. I'm also really fond of playing football either! In High school, I always skip some class sessions to play football with my friends. I really like watching football in Stadium, it feels so fantastic, difficult to describe really. If you've never watch a game in stadium, i think you should try the atmosphere of people gather together cheer for their team. I like that maybe because i like cheering...lol
feel free to drop by at my own free games site: www.game4pal.com , thanks

My favorite sport is baseball. The interesting part is when they have a home run or a great hit. I don't get to watch as much as I wish to because its not always on TV in my area. I would rather watch it at home to avoid crowds and people who end up drinking to much as start acting like an @#%. Plus I can get my snacks and use the bathroom without having to wait on lines. LOL LOL LOL

I prefer to watch sports in TV too. My husband's favorite sport is baseball. He is very fond of it and buys tickets for all the matches for a year at onetime. His favorite team is Sr. Loius Cardinals. He even made the emblem of the team as a tatoo in his hand (I don't like that tatoo). I think the team is a university team. I don't know more about it. What is your favorite baseball team?

I like cricket, but i love all indoor games. Be it tennis or chess - i simply love to play them all. And with the onset of computer games i find no time to go outdoors to play any sport. By the way, i would also like to mention that i'm not a "sports" person :)

My favourite sport is tennis. The first thing that let me pay attention to tennis is a cartoon which is called The Princes of Tennis.Since then, I became very interested in tennis. I have never played it for it is too expensive to buy the racket, to have tennis classes or to rent the court. I like to watch tennis matches very much, especially the openings.

Even my favourite sport is cricket and i am a hardcore fan of Sachin Tendulkar. I love India and always support for my team. Though my family is not that addicted to cricket but still I am a very big fan of that game. When i was a child I would fight with my Mom & grand mom to watch cricket match in TV as they would prefer watching the TV soaps always. I donno what made me that interested in Cricket but I am a great fan\fanatic of that game. I watch Matches regularly and especially if India plays, I would definitely watch it.
I stay in Chennai and whenever there is a match being played at Chepauk(Chennai
s cricket stadium), I would never miss to see the match live in the stadium. The excitement, cheers, patriotism and everything could be witnessed to a great extent if we happen to watch the match in stadium and right from my age 12, I have not missed even a single match at chepauk. I fondly remember an incident when i asked my dad to get me a ticket for chepauk match, he told me that he would be getting me a pavilion ticket if I score atleast 80% in my 10th standard school half yearly exam as I was not a studious child in my school days. I studied without proper sleep and food and i was able to score 81.5%(Lucky me) and enjoyed watching India vs England match and to my joy SACHIN TENDULKAR was declared Man of the match for his fluent 65 and 3 wickets.. A pleasant Memory indeed..:-)

My favourite sport is also cricket. My son is mad behind cricket. he is nine years old but he is very fond of cricket. he will watch each and every match in the TV, if also India is not playing. I want him to see one match in the stadium also . There was a chance also as some of the IPL matches were planned in our city but then the venue got changed to Africa. Still he is waiting that some team come to our city and he can then go to see the match in person.
