Am I a Wife to you?

So i joined this group because i would like to know where i stand in the eyes of other wives.
I am a lesbian and my partner and I have decided to make it official that we are meant for each other for life. Made plans of a union ceremony and everything....just as you would a wedding between a man and woman. so my question to you is...is this the same thing in your eye? i would just like an opinion because to me...love is love and it has no gender...

I am not a wife, but I have a mother and I know many wives, and have a very loving family, so i think I have a bit of expertise in the matter.
I agree with you, love is love. Anyone who has a different opinion is most likely blinded by ignorance, prejudice and hatred. We need more love in the world, and I applaud you in your decision to make your love official with your partner. Congratulations!

we are the "wife"...yes im a lesbian too, and same as you queen_mcj that decided we are meant for each other...we are happy together, loving each other no matter what others will say or think...love is love, and as long as we are happy loving and we don't hurt or disturbing others life...

I definitely think you are a wife. You play the roles that a traditional wife plays and you love your partner. I think those are the most important things to keep in mind when thinking about a wife.
Best of luck to you and your partner in the future. No matter what kind of problems you run into, you have to remember that love is love and that union is forever.
