Are you easily disturb when someone keeps on staring at you?

Yup! I feel it strange too when people stare at me non-stop! Once I was waiting for bus to come home from college, and this guy who was sitting next to me was staring. I assumed that he was dreaming and I didn't bother, after awhile, it was quite disturbing and I had to hold a file on my face!! Yaa, cover it from being stared...LOL!!

well, it actually depends on the kind of stare. there are times when it's easy to determine what a person is thinking by the way he/she stares at you. there are stares that will tell you that he/she is angry with you. there are also glares that show contempt. like when you see a person you hate, you stare at him/her with your eyebrows crossed. there are also flirtatious stares... and these are the kind of stares i like, especially since i'm a single guy. who here agrees with me? anyway, when i guy checks out a guy and stares at her for a long time, it is usually just because he is mesmerized by her beauty. when a guy sees a beauty that he can't take his eyes off of, he doesn't really mean any harm. it's just that he is unaware that he is already looking at her with his saliva drooling. hehehe on the other hand, when i girl stares at me with a smile, i instantly know that she finds me attractive. and i am VERY COMFORTABLE WITH THAT. :-)

This is One Habit which Some people feel is their Birth Right .. They Go On Staring at people As If there's No other creature In this world That resemble the One They are seeing .. Mostly it is the males Who Stare At Good Dressed Women .. You Women Should never Care for such an Attitude By Mindless Males .. This Habit hasnt evolved from StoneAge Times .. So please Dont worry .. Hi there! For me it depends. If a guy staring at me looks cute enough then it's ok hehe. But if the person staring looks like a gangster, I would try to hide. Kidding aside, I agree with those who thinks staring is because of admiration. Mostly men stares at girls whom they find pretty. Females does the same thing when they see good looking guys. But sometimes people stares with no reason at all. Sometimes a person's mind is occupied by thoughts and they would stare at something or at someone blankly. I have experienced that, staring at someone whom I don't know cause I was thinking of something and the person walked up to me and asked if I know her. Ciao!

Yes, I feel very uncomfortable when someone keeps staring at me, and I have had this experience many times. Sometimes it may be that you are seriously discussing a matter with someone and he is just staring at you without listening what you are telling. I hate people who stare for no reason. If they are admiring they can very well pass comments like saying " Oh you look charming" etc., then we can also respond to their compliment, instead if they just stare, it makes us wonder what they are thinking in their mind.

well... if its a good looking women who is staring at me, I would not be disturbed, it would be nice to have her staring at me . Seriously, it does bother you when someone is staring at you. I am from India, and as Steve Waugh (Australian cricket player) wrote in his autobiography, Indians love to stare. So we have to deal with lot of stares since childhood Thankfully am a man, so I get lot less stares than women. Women in India are stared equally by both, men and women ..lols... As for your story, even if that guy was interested in you, he could have a look and look away, staring is really annoying. Many animals take it as a challenge ...lols

I'm not usually stared at so I wouldn't know. But I actually like to indirectly stare at people. Most of the time, I like to stare at people through the reflections on the bus windows. I just like to admire physical and personality traits. Sometimes I like to admire a dress or a guy's bookbag. I try not to be creepy and do it all discreetly.

It used to bother me, now I just stare back until they look away unless they make me really uncomfortable and then I ask them a question like....do I know you? do you need something? and they either have an answer or just say no and stop. It sounds to me like you have an admirer, you must be very pretty.

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. More no though. I am use to being stared at. I find when I go out guys tend to glance at me a lot and like the other day I had a guy staring at me. Other times though I become very aware of it then it makes me self conscious.

I do not like people staring at me either. Especially when it is a man who is staring with obvious intentions. I usually try to remove myself from a situation where this is happening. And anyway, it is really rude to stare at people.

I can actually feel when someone is staring at me.it makes me feel uncomfortable.sometimes I think they're staring at me when I have something in my face or if my jeans' zipper is open.I check myself first,then if nothing is wrong,I feel creepy.I either think that he is a stalker or gay,checking out if my clothes are nice.

I am painfully shy and do feel disturbed when someone keeps staring at me. I don't like that attention and feel insecure about why they are doing it and how exactly I should react. I have found some people staring at me in the past. Usually when I am shopping or using the net at my local library.

If a female is starting at me I dont mind. Now if its a man then we might have some problems. I live in a neighborhood with a lot of gangs and If some guy stares at me then I get concerned. Especially if he is with other people and they stare at me. Even though I am not associated with any gangs sometimes people will assume that you hang out with someone that is in a gang and they will do something to you if its a rival gang. So when Im out and about I usually walk around with more than one person since they are less likely to approach you if there is more than one person with you. I have gotten in fights with people because they thought I was in a gang and it was usually like one or two people. I can defend myself well so it wasnt a problem. I guess I only get concerned when there is a group of four or more guys. Seems like people in gangs can only fight in pairs so you gotta do what you gotta do to win even if it means fighting unfair because there is no such thing as fair when you fight these people.

If someone i know is staring me down then i fly into a rage and tell them 2 stop staring at me...if its a person i don't know then i get so mad and i instantly give them dirty looks...i dont know why but for some reason it makes me nervous when i kno im being stared at..makes me feel like i have sumthing on ma face or sumthing..

I definately don't like ppl staring at me and I also try not to stare at other ppl. I guess it's a shy thing but even Hubby staring at me irritates me sometimes. [b]~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**[/b]

Wow... Your admire. I'm not comfort with the person starring at me too. Like your case, if I were you, I will feel that the person starring at you like want to do something not good at you. Now you knew the truth. Hope you won't experience again. It's such a bad feel.

That would depend on who and how he/she stare at me. If it's normal and more like awe kind of stare, I'll let them be. I am sure there's nothing to be ashamed of at that moment. If it's not and more like some disgusting stare, I'll be disturbed and walk away. I find that disturbing and that particular person means harm. I better find a safer place.

As all the members above has said, my opinion is similar to them. If the person staring at me is well dressed and looks from a good family then I think may be he thinks that he knows me thats why he is looking at me, if that person is a kid then I would just smile back at him/her (yes sometimes girls also stare) but if it's a ugly or mean looking man with shabby dress then I would better plan a route for escape as no one knows what's in his mind, he might even follow you (scared) (stalkers)

well i dont have any problem if any1 stares at me as long as hez way of seeing doesnt irritates me ....ususally i dont care abt it but therez 1 of my friends even if u look at her for 1 sec without any reason she screams lolzzzzzzz and v love to irritate her more

i don't remerber such experience in my younger days . It surely happened and i was surely feeling embarrassing . But if happens now i won't feel like that because i have been married and grown up. Sometimes other people keep staring at you means you are beautiful , nice , special. Just enjoy it
