Hi All, I felt like asking you this question because i love to dance and my partner don’t the "D" of dance. Actually i want to join salsa classes and he don’t want to, also he is gaining weight and i want him to join so that i can learn the dance as well as he can loose weight.
I was reading a article that many couple enjoy the dance and this make a new refreshment in their relationship. it also reduces stress and help to gain good health.
I love dancing that's why i want to join salsa classes but I don’t have partner . I feel sad that my life partner don’t know to dance.
So do you dance with your partner? Or would you like to dance?

I am not a good dancer neither my husband is... but we dance as a couple. :) We don't attend dancing parties. And yet we dance when we celebrate good times, when we are sad, when we are tired, when we spent late nights alone, when we hear our favorite song! It feels great to dance together.
Dancing makes you express yourself in a different way more than words can do.
There is a certain rhythm of your body that makes it enjoyable and romantic at the same time. My husband don't enjoy it as much as i do before, but as time goes by he also begin to anticipate our dancing together and he himself begin to feel the liberty of dancing. One doesn't need to be a good dancer to dance. He or she just need to do it. And be free!

Hi
I think you can find another interest or something that you can enjoy with him as some people do not like to change their minds once they say they dont like something, then that's it. As for taking classes, why not? you can join class and learn what you like and dance for him, he might like it and then join you :) YOu can walk together and go around the beach or something. Try make more healthy food and build healthy Habits to avoid gaining more wight.
Thanks and happy MyLotting.

No, I never learned to dance well, and I don't like to do something poorly, but that is OK because hubby is even worse at it than me and neither of us likes that as an exercise or way of socializing. We have plenty of other things we enjoy doing together.

Hi, I too like to dance with my partner but only at home n sometimes in parties. Whenever we dance our little daughter comes in between and she wants to dance with her daddy, not to hurt her i let her dance with him.
Also I and my daughter dance whenever we hear our favourite song, then whatever the time be (morning/afternoon or late night). It really refreshes and we enjoy too.

Yes i like to dance and so does my husband, but we are not interested to join a class or something but we like to go with the flow if we hear any nice songs. I find my husbadn has a total different rhythem when dancing, but yea, I'm happy he is participating with me!!
